I got my ALP this friday, been really enjoying it. Good feeling on hand, heavy weight to it and makes great vapor.

Only thing I been having problems with is on demand mode, I'm getting more vapor on session mode with the same temps, don't know if its something I'm doing wrong but... I get more vapor and more roasted avb on session mode.

Waiting for the dosing capsules too
Use higher temps in on demand mode
I don't use session mode really as on demand gives me better quality vapour
But in session mode I used 420/430
In on demand mode I use on full temp 464

Mighty capsules don't fit in the ALP oven? Has anyone tried it before removing the microdosing disk and trying the mighty capsules on it?

Hello everyone, I realized this morning that the vape that I love from the moment go is dead. I killed it. Shit happens. Time to take action. There is a code WCBF that will get you $100 off a Pro. It is a legit code just in case anyone wants to get a Pro. $100 off with this code.

I cannot live without this vape...I NEED ONE ASAP! Thanks everyone for helping me with info about water damage. Bottom line: Your electronic equipment does not like water. It is pretty much fucked up until the end. Never the same again.

PS I now have a vape that can be taken apart for a tear down. Does anyone want to do that?
I would love to see a tear down. Sorry about your misfortune, however.

If you havent found anyone open to do a teardown, I'd be more than willing to do it. Let me know if you're up for it.

Here is the airpath, and tear down picture
That's awesome, big thanks for this! We all appreciate it. But as far as I can see the heater is excluded in this. How does it work with food grade silicone that close to the heater? Trying to figure it out, but wouldnt food grade silicone be too close to the heater?

I say it again; we have been in business for 10 years. Please don't try to find a problem anywhere... We are a well-known company with a good reputation; if you still don't feel like trusting, just pick another brand. Industry-standard materials, good quality.
What a brush off, we will of course look into the devices you're selling. That's what we usually do here in the forum. And lets be real here, it really doesn't matter if you've been in business for over 10 years or 50 years.. Example stoltz and bickel with their aluminum dust issue. Design flaws or illogical choices of material can happen to any company at any stage.

Now you actually peeked my interest and I´m more interested than ever to do a teardown of a unit :D

Ps. I really started liking the Legacy Pro and use it daily, because I like it. But that doesnt mean I wont be skeptical about the product until I've been able to verify it ;) Especially since you had issues with the last legacy you released.

@Gary-Airvape do you happen to know where will be the cheapest place to get one of these in the UK?

Wanna see if it will replace my crafty in the lineup.

Thanks

i don't think it's about finding problems to put down your company or devices, but to improve (nothing is perfect) and make all our lives better.

it's pretty clear you have a great heater in the ALP (ideal shape, material, hybrid heating tech) but the vape path and reloading experience leaves alot to be desired. i'm sure it (future versions) would benefit from having easier, less messy oven interaction and a full, entirely removable, glass or zirconia path for example.

this feedback is here because we are interested in your products and company philosophy. if we didn't care you wouldn't hear a peep. the ALP evolved from the previous version because you got feedback about problems with it and you fixed it yay! no?

p.s. what does "PC/stand" mean in the airpath drawing? i see there's a "L shaped" segment in the vapor path between the glass tube and mouthpiece. thank you

But then why does it matter if someone takes one apart? I was just interested in what the inside looks like out of curiosity but this response kind of raises a red flag for me. if you don't want people opening it up to see what's inside maybe there's a good reason for that... Lol. Now I NEED to know what the inside looks like.

Couldn't agree more arefx, this really made me curious. I want to open one up to scrutinize the internals. Seems like they don't want us to open one up and the brush off really made wonder and as you said it raises quite a few red flags.

@Gary-Airvape can you provide a teardown of a unit or send a unit that we could do a teardown with?

If people want to do a tear down why don’t they just buy a unit and do it themselves? 🤷🏼‍♀️
Why would we waste our own money when it's the company that's trying to sell us something. Do you see car buyers buying a car to crash test it before they purchase the car that they'll use for their daily commute? No this is provided by the company since they're the ones that have an interest in selling you a product. And statements from the manufacturer that it's safe isn't enough.

So do you go to a car dealership and ask then to GIVE you one?

No need for it since the car manfucaturer already has provided a car to EuroNcaps (eu) for example and had them tested, such an organization like EuroNcaps does not exist in the vape world. If you'd like to trust companies blindly that have faulted previously that's up to you, but most of us dont want to risk our lungs and health. It's in the manufacturers best interest to explain and calm their buyers. Instead of brushing them off like they did a few posts up.

That's great, who'll be doing the teardown? :) Did not see that someone actually volunteered to do the teardown and that Dr. G confirmed it, but I´m checking posts inbetween meetings so could have missed something :D

How can you not see above post from Airvape to be a brush off? I´m taking it as, leave us be. Our word is enough, now bugger off.

Greetings, a few days ago...I dropped my vape in the toilet and it stopped working. At that time...I offered to the board my vape to take apart. I did not have any PM indicating that anyone was interested. My son in law came by and took it to fix it. He does not vape or know anything about vapes. I gave it to him. If he winds up not fixing it...I will offer it back to the board. He will not destroy it. He isn't a child. He is careful. I went ahead and ordered a NEW vape. The sale is outrageous and I managed to get a 50% off discount because of their UPGRADE program. I own other Legacy's that enabled this...if I did not have another Legacy the sale is amazing as well...Bernadette over at the company helped me with all of this and the customer service is ace.
