Anvil by Vestratto

Not really, the only way to currently use the anvil for direct toking (afaik) is to buy the complete Anvil. Many do however use it in some 14mm joint setup already, even exclusively, so it is definitely a great deal.

Just saw the WPA kit, is this just like a cheaper alternative to the full anvil? Kinda seems unnecessary so I assume it's just a budget option to own the Anvil. Which is a great idea!
Well, unofficially perhaps ;)

That’ll be why most people get them, I agree it doesn’t seem necessary as a stand-alone product considering the stem has 10mm and 14mm fitment

Cool to see John trying different things though, now where’s my helix bowl?

I do agree but for alot of ppl that held back cuz of the price this is a way more affordable way to join the community.

But for me seeing as I have a anvil I'm waiting for that .5 bowl and oven. That for me will be worth WPA.

Yeah definitely, I think the other issue is the international shipping for a lot of people. I’ve noticed it’s a harder sell to friends when you mention that part

Looking forward to trying the .5 bowl as well, that’ll be a hell of a hit

I just received the condenser for mine in the mail today and I haven’t used much else since. I’m using the xtra large bowl and a j hook. I’m finding it takes a little longer to click than the user edition however the kit seems to be yielding more vapor. It also seems to second click in a shorter period of time.

Good job Vestratto.

This is probably due to the XL bowl which I’ve found clicks a little faster and produces a fair bit more vapour - as far as I’m aware the actual oven is the same as the one on the UE

I think the only difference between the two “kits” is from the condenser down?

Here in the UK energy costs are due to rise to the point we will be huddled together in libraries trying to last the winter in some blitz/depression mash up. To help get though I will stop washing my clothes until I just smell like mold, and primarily vaping with my Anvil while shivering under blankets.

Thanks for the energy saving device John!

It's a cheaper alternative and a way to cut down on unnecessary condensation of essential oils when going through water. I always took my fly traps and mouthpieces off...i want direct inject lol. The WPA is a lot shorter so sits lower and further away from the face in certain pieces which makes it a lot easier to clean. The only part that gets dirty in the condenser so a quick qtip and you're good to go. The WPA is also wide open in the airflow department, John went with no adjustable airflow and opened up the airflow as much as possible.

I wonder if John would ever consider partnering with a glass blower and offering official vestratto glassware?

I’ve noticed more than a few glass pieces won’t let the anvil sit in there if the XL MP is on it. Would be cool to offer a full kit with a bong and torch IMO

Hi Whiff.

Is the WPA easy to manipulate, when you want to do a hot reload?

I'm literally in the same boat. Waiting for the 0.5 to buy with matching WPA. I think that will be a game changer.

.5 is a lot to vape at once:D
It's for those days you are rushing to get ready to leave the house for some awful real world stuff. Picking up the lady from the airport, going to work etc.

0.5 in the Anvil. Smash my brain in under a minute, then grab the house keys.

Also amazing for showing friends who still burn joints and bongs and who say vaping is not strong enough. Give them psychosis in a matter of seconds, then teach them some deep breathing exercises so they don't lose their shit. Beautiful.

I'm just saying, I vaped a .5er in 3.5 hits yesterday to test and, sure, I pulled it off:tup: flawlessly of course, see for yourself how big that bowl will have to be! GiHUGEic!
Current xl bowl load... for comparison
Good luck all!:science:
Edit: when you say .5 in the anvil are you doing 3 back to back bowls? The xl barely holds .2?

That looks unreal. Thanks for sharing that mate.

The Anvil designer John mentioned in one of his recent emails possibly creating a new oven that will fit 0.5 herb chambers. Some of us are very excited about the idea.

I would love if they do it! I'm just so intrigued how the bowl will look!

Got my WPA kit today…and an extra condenser

Initial impressions are high. Nice build, and with the 18mm silicone adapter even nicer. I would recommend getting the 14mm with the adapter over an 18mm.

Very easy to manipulate changing of ovens. A little different in the ritual but by no means difficult.

Not wild about the black anodized top, but I’m sure with the heat a non would be colored quickly.

For anyone just using in a water piece exclusively it’s a no brainer to go this route.

Now…having this in my hands I’m sure we’ll see 14mm stem adapters to hook to it. Already sits nice in a j hook.

It's not too bad, i like to use the insulator ring to remove the Anvil and i usually hold it by the 14mm joint when manipulating it. I have had it for about a week now and getting use to the feel and ritual of using the insulator ring.

I got my extra condenser yesterday, still waiting for the WPA though. Tracking said yesterday for arrival, then it was changed to Tuesday.

Do we know if the theoretical 0.5 bowl/oven would fit on the current WPA?

Would love to know this.
The .5 bowl is supposedly going to be compatible with our existing stems, so by extension that should also mean the WPA :)

The oven will be bigger but im pretty sure the WPA stem will be fine but you will need a different oven.

So, I snagged myself an Anvil and I’ve had it a little under a week so far now.
I know we’re all familiar with the honeymoon period with a new vape, but sometimes you just know right away that this ones going to be a keeper and a keeper it is!

Enjoy. Had mine since the founders edition and it still feels like the honeymoon period. Still an absolute joy to use.

I typically keep a small rotation, so vapes are always at risk of being sold for certain flaws. I've never been so content with a vape before however.
