Putin is a War Criminal
Advertising the old fashioned way over Edmond, Oklahoma. Didn't get the airplane in the picture, but there was one towing this sign today. Good quality weed for $49/oz, out the door.

Trump University wasn't a school. It was a plain scam that people should've went to prison for. Real schools don't have "Instructions for if the AG raids us" in the employee handbook.

Plenty of business geniuses who went to Harvard are real dumbfucks though. See the events that finally popped off in '08 on Wall Street for evidence of that. Apparently educated business geniuses also can't turn a profit on $80 eighths, something high school dropout dealers have managed to do for generations.

Why aren't cannabis companies using these profits to bribe politicians? I was told once the money is there, legalization will soon follow. The money is there. So why isn't it legal?

If you add the illicit market the amount probably doubles.
I think they are mostly bribing local state officials to set up monopolies. My state is doing okay but when I look at other states with Curaleaf or cresco, it bums me out. I suspect you know how it is in Florida. Basically just open corruption down there for licenses.

Yeah, now I'm thinking the big weed companies are fairly happy with our clusterfuck system. Easier profits when you don't have to compete with growers and extractors in 50 States.

Big weed is in michigan now, but with competition prices are coming down.

A lot of little rural towns have dispensaries now along with bigger cites that had them for longer and prices are coming down with competition.

Havnt heard any dispensaries going broke either.

I don't know the full story but have seen videos recently where licensed California growers are squeezed between excessive taxes, a lot of competition and a thriving black market.

I'm guessing growers and dispensaries will thrive in states that over-regulate, 100% at the consumer's expense, although they're also at risk of being undercut by tax free black market weed or illegal interstate weed (probably from Oklahoma). Fucking Oklahoma! I can say that because I'm in it...

@JBone65 I sure do hope Oklahoma is flooding Texas with that illegal interstate weed. Fucking Texas! I can say that because I’m originally from there, just been hiding out in England for the better part of two decades. I love reading the news here on cannabis progress stateside because we certainly haven’t experienced any over here in the UK!

I'm not advocating for anything illegal, but having only one state overproducing weed legally (at low cost with low taxes) creates an obvious huge smuggling opportunity.

Almost anyone could potentially find a way to access the Oklahoma market, where they could load up and quickly double or triple their investment back home. If I can find excellent weed for under $50/oz, I'm wondering what a bulk price might be?

I'm guessing it's happening more and more. Haven't seen an estimate of the yearly legal or illegal production rate in Ok, but it must be high with over 9000 growers. A massive amount of weed has been going somewhere for a couple of years now, maybe all over the world.

I got a little worried but it looks like they’re just warning that are companies making claims that delta 8 can cure or treat diseases. That seems fair.

Though it does say the FDA is “concerned” about delta 8.

Delta-8 has between half to three-quarters the level of potency as delta-9, but cannabis specialists and users said the compound can make users feel relaxed, clear-headed, and giggly.

Oh, the horror.

companies selling weed "" legally """ with a business model that mimics how that same weed is sold on the streets on the black market cannot last that long with those types of sales .... maybe making a business model not based on the sale @ prohibition cannabis prices would be best - But Wait ! cannabis is still prohibited so there is that ...

Here's an interesting short local cannabis news segment from a couple of months ago.

One gigantic illegal operation (including nine different grower's licenses and locations) got busted for smuggling weed to multiple states. They were caught with 200,000 pounds of processed cannabis about to be shipped and another 100,000 live plants. One "farm" had 80 acres with over 500 greenhouses. 😲

Probably just a normal guy, got a little carried away....:leaf:

The scale of these grows is astounding.
The fact that these guys could take it this far is also astounding.

So what is the story with some of them having licenses? Just got a little carried away?

No one was watching so they went crazy, probably over several years. It would seem obvious that someone would notice 50 greenhouses and investigate. Who knows what they were thinking. Maybe they made so much money they didn't care that they would eventually be exposed. I'm guessing the local authorities found out due to some other law enforcement agency bringing it to their attention, maybe the DEA.

Presumably they had nine licenses for nine grow operations, in the names of nine different local people, but it was all one organization.

Same for our Minnesota State Republican Senators who just voted down a State amendment to consider cannabis a Schedule 2 drug, not a Schedule 1 drug.
Anyone who still considers it Sched 1, no medical value, is either a lazy bastard not willing to do a tiny amount of online research OR a lying bastard who knows damn well it has medical value.
Tired of paying $70/eighth for MN medical bud. Two dispensaries allowed in the whole state so they can charge what they want. $200 state license fee per year (highest in the country!!!) to boot.
