If I buy a MiniVap - which accessories you recommend? I go only for a desktop one, I barely vape outdoor these days
I aim for the Teflon core
A WPA is a necessity but other than that you dont really need other accessories. Maybe a few extra flexicones and baskets just in case.

Is it true that the MV hits just as hard as ball filled injector vapes? Which of the 2 is better if I want to keep my tolerance level balanced, why still getting blasted every night?

It hits really hard but def not the same as a ball-filled injector vape. The minivap takes a lot longer to fully extract than a ball injector does, with all the pros and cons that come along with that. Don't forget, the minivap is a session vape.

Yeah good point. I keep finding myself straying away from a DIY injector because I’m afraid it’s going to scortch my tolerance.. Would you say between the MV / Pinky, that one would keep my tolerance more balanced than the later? Or is the difference negligible? Pinky looks like it absolutely smacks, but at the cost of cooking all your herb in one rip and increasing your tolerance. Thoughts?

Idk, the couchlog gets me a lot higher quicker than the minivap does, so id assume the minivap is better for your tolerance, but the minivap will absolutely get you to the same place, its just a more leisurely ride. With either its more an issue of personal use than the device itself.

As someone who has both cores, and a myriad of other desktop heavies. The two don't really compare in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, you'd have to pry my Flowerpot and both my Minivaps out of my hands to get them from me, but they are just two entirely different beasts.

Flowerpot provides single/two hit extraction out of a huge bowls and requires glass for cooling. Minivap is a portable that can deliver great session hits and also some pretty rad water pipe hits, you just have to work a bit harder for it rather than ball injectors which are pretty much just point and shoot.

That being said, if you want something to get you as high as possible go diy Pinky route if you want. If you want a verstaile vape you can sip, rip,, or milk up a bong with, I'd say look at the minivaps.

You can ask under the Ask FC thread comparing the two and I'm sure you'll get more answers!

Is the 4/20 Sale - 20% off? I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting another 6 weeks to purchase the MV.. does the sale usually run for an entire week or just a single day? Figured I’d do my homework first to see if I should wait or not. Anyone have experience buying the MV on 4/20?

i'm on the same boat as you i'm really hoping there are no supply chain issues with them that they would have enough stock to be willing to offer a 420 sale this year.

I haven't fitted yet the glass to the filling chamber. The video instructions posted on MV site shows removal of the Teflon cylinder with a screwdriver from the base. Is this ok for the Teflon, wouldn't the screwdriver scratch the Teflon and there is another way?

I tried it in my hybrid core. Did they advice shoving a screen down there to prevent material from leaking out of the glass? I found the expeirence just meh, wasn't a hole buch different than basketets and alot more of a pain

Is it generally advised to use the basket screens? or do people also pack their herb directly into the oven? Deciding if I should buy the extra 4 pack of baskets or not.

As per written instructions, must repare a flexicone with a single filter (without ring) to avoid leaking.

Also these video instructions shows how to dismantle loading chamber with a screwdriver

Medium or small baskets? Is one more so suggested than the other? Getting my order ready now!

I basically never use the small baskets, a medium basket already uses a pretty small amount of weed.

FYI if you also own a Mighty or Crafty;
The mV small baskets do come in very handy for making a Flexicone module with small basket….
that then fits in shallower Mighty bowl, giving it much better tasting/ more convection type vapor.
Ditch the dirty Mighty CU for a Flexicone superior substitute. Open face for easy water connect or wood or glass mouthpiece.

I try to use the Flexicones in all my vapes, when possible.
The Flexicone is 10X the crappy Mighty aluminum hot, conduction adding, pain in the ass S&B capsules.

I’m putting my accessory list together and so far I have: extra starter kit, extra 4 pack of medium baskets, delta 3d studios 18MM wpa. Does that sound like everything I’ll need? (All my glass is 18MM). Are 2 flexicones and 2 flexicones+ enough? I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth spending $40~ on the 4 packs of both flexis or if I’m good with just a set 2 of each. Any other accessory suggestions? Thanks!

This is the best WPA I have found. I would highly recommend ordering the WPA as soon as possible. If I recall correctly, these are made to order, so it will take a week or so before it ships. But the main issue is the smell. This silicone has an extremely potent vinegar odor. So strong it made me gag when I opened the package. The smell does not wash off either. You have to let it sit and air out for a couple of weeks before the smell goes away. The smell will eventually go away, but plan on a minimum of two weeks for that to happen. More time will be even better.

Are 2 flexicones and 2 flexicones+ enough?
I have used three flexicones and two flexicone+ since I got my Minivap ordered on Black Friday 2021. Most of that was from trying to DIY different WPAs though. I am glad I ordered extras of both types of flexicones.

Any other accessory suggestions?
Personally, I would skip the extra starter kit. Instead, I would order more flexicones, flexicone+, both sizes of baskets, and a pack of orings.

Appreciate ya! This was the response I was looking for! I’ll make sure to snag more flexis, baskets, orings. What about an extra stock mouthpiece? I know most ppl use their MV via WPA + glass.. is the stock mouth piece really that bad?

what are the chances that minivap will make a similar lid like the delta3d one but with the anodized aluminum and glass? (i'm essentially wishing that the minivap will step up and become the replacement for the vapexhale cloud evo lol

Very, very low, at least for the time being, as they just released a new wpa system.

New Accessories MiniVAP (II): Water Pipe Adapters (WPAs) Minivap Blog
Date: 25/01/2022
Key words: water pipe, wpa, glass adapter.
The so-called WPA (water pipe adapter or adapters for water pipe) provide a connection to your glassware such as: pipes, hydration tubes (Hydratube®), humidifiers (bubblers), etc. They have a conical shape and their measurements are standardized for a reliable and watertight connection.
We have renewed the design of the 14MM glass adapter and added a 14MM to 18MM adapter, also made of glass.

But there is also a new design: an adapter / WPA for the lid. You will get a fast and direct connection with Hook-up type tools or vertical bubblers on your MiniVAP core.
Adapter/WPA for MV Flexicone+
Please note that there are changes. The inlet outer diameter of the new glass adapter is thicker (10MM, previously 8MM) for better grip when attached to a flexicone+ tube. Do not try to install it from the hole in the cover to a flexicone because it may crack the plastic in the cover. Keep reading…

Adapter/WPA for MV Lid
I have to thank @Ed’s_TnT and @stickstones from the FuckCombustion forum for developing this piece. They brought me the first WPA for the MiniVAP lid: a nice piece made of 18MM wood that fit perfectly on the lid. With the help of @jardri we have perfected the dimensions so that, using a vertical humidifier (Hydratube® type), it fits like a glove on the top of the lid.
To use this new accessory. You must have the glass catcher installed and the flexicone cut on the inside of the lid. You will find the explanation in the previous post “New Accessories MiniVAP (I) Accessories: Glass Starter Kit”

Insert the WPA by inserting its thicker end through the straight part of the collector that protrudes from the cap. Make the stop until the base of the WPA rests on the lid. You will notice some hardness because a firm grip is necessary to prevent movement and retain the piece. This prevents it from coming out and remaining inserted in the bubbler connection.

The WPA is made of nylon, using a technology called: additive manufacturing. The externa texture is a bit rough but mechanically, it is a very solid and almost unbreakable material.
The second option that we offer to use this piece is as a standard glass adapter connected to the tubular end of a flexicone+.
Let's do it!
Insert a collector inside the WPA, leaving the tapered part at the narrow end of the WPA. You will see that the straight part of the manifold sticks out, connect the end of the flexicone+ here. You are now ready to connect to your tool and enjoy the flavor.
Insert a collector inside the WPA, leaving the tapered part at the narrow end of the WPA. You will see that the straight part of the manifold sticks out through the bottom of the WPA; connect the edge of the flexicone+ here.
You are now ready to connect to your water tools and enjoy the flavor
Any updates on when these signature WPAs will release?
