Hmm, I thought as much. People over there seem to be using any old copper wire they have laying around and it doesn’t sit well with me.

No concerns about the Anvil then? I’ve noticed the air intake is right next to the thermal battery, but I’m also aware that he’s not using copper he’s torn out of his walls like the redditors are
Well i have a vapman which features a gold plated copper heater, never had any problems with it,but honestly havent tried a vaporizer with bare copper in the build ,so i cannot speak of it really. I wasnt concerned about aluminum either, until i bought a supreme v2 and was getting a nasty headache with each use, so now i try to stay away from that material. If i get to play around with the Anvil someday ,i am pretty sure i would 100% sense it ,if there was smth off about it . Not claiming jedi senses, but maybe the Princess and the Pea level. :D
I doubt even lead can poison someone that easily off such small amount of material ,it would need a very prolonged use. Let;s give it a couple of months and see if people using copper wire from the hardware store will start to feel sick.

I don't really like linking to Amazon, but if you're in the UK and can't get hold of a Blazer Firefox (I couldn't) then this works well and holds loads of gas, £25:
It has a very defined blue flame, excellent for directing at your favourite spot on the Anvil. You'll only need it on a small flame, snaps at 45 seconds in the copper ditch.
I love watching how the copper cleans up and shines as it gets heated by the flame.

Hi there.

We use C110 which is the highest grade of pure electrolytic copper. We then subject the copper blanks to our own proprietary vacuum procedure at over 1,000 degrees celsius to remove any oxides or residual impurities from both the copper and the stainless. The CopperCore fabrication process is outlined in our patent filings. If I'd known all I had to do was pop over to Home Depot and grab some wire and twist I could have saved us all a lot of time and money.

As to whether free copper molecules might be carried by the incoming air stream. The boiling point of copper at normal atmospheric pressure is 2,567 degrees celsius. The peak temperature of the butane torch flame you are heating the Anvil with is 1430 celsius. The click temperature is around 250 celsius. The copper is not boiling off.

I lightly fill the bowl looking for as much airflow as I can get and go to a medium roast only. Flavour is fantastic and I prefer an easy draw so lightly filling really helps. Now just to wait for the accessory market to open.

I kinda discovered that as well. i used to over pack now i just barely fill it and the taste is very good and i still get nice clouds. I want a nice stem with a vortex insert and an oring to grip the mouthpiece or just right below the heatshield.

I tried to post a picture but can't figure it out but I use a tiny hemper recycler and a cheap pro-lite torch. I can lock on the torch and leave it alone and wait for the click. Only problem is remembering to listen for the click after few bowls. I don't care if I don't fully extract I would run multiple new lightly packed medium roast bowls then one ride the line fully packed bowl. I find myself sometimes hitting for the flavour and not even needing to medicate.

I'd be interested to see how much flower you actually use when lightly packed, im assuming less than a 0.1 in the full bowl then. Sometimes i notice if i inhale too hard i compact the herb a lot more which results in some restriction to airflow, I find packing lightly helps with airflow while hitting it harder.

I have actually scaled it out. It's pushing the limits on my scale at .006-.008. But it is what I run through the full size bowl. If I go too much more then that it doesn't have enough airflow to let the recycler go fully. Also little enough I can clear in one bong hit.

Hiya, is that .006-.008g?
Yesterday I put .015g just crumbs really, into the large chamber. I'm really pleased it worked so well for what is effectively a microdose, mini-cloud even. It's quite a lot of gas for such a small amount of material so it's not very efficient in that respect, but it's a reliably repeatable dark (not black) extraction in one-hit. I can highly recommend for microdosers, very little faff to get the dose done.

One too many zeros in each. I use about half the normal amount. Just to increase airflow

I was quite a few bowls in last night.

I received my replacement storage tube and air valve. As advertised for sure.

You can see the new valve on the right has had more material removed from its neck making the intake gap bigger when installed.

The Anvil fits perfectly in the tube with little to no back and forth movement. I’m not happy with the storage cap having O rings but I believe Vestratto said the User Edition will be threaded. That will be a nice improvement. The extra tube, like Vestratto suggested, makes for a fancy doob tube. My loading tool I made works really nicely to dig down in the tube to load.
