Suggestions For Small Vape

dman28

Vaping for the health of it.
Hello my first post after lurking on this forum for a couple of months. The amount of intelligent and thought provoking discussion/information can be confusing at times so I thought I would ask for some advice.
I am older guy who combusted for 40 years off and on until I purchased an Arizer Air which I have used for about 5 years ago until I recently bought a Vmax and an M21 as was strongly suggested on another web page. The Xmax V3 I like using when I am out walking the dog but is not the quality I am looking for. So I have been using the m21 with a Simrell cooling as micro doser daily, as my wife tolerates as long I am discrete.
I am on the a wait list for the Anvil and will buy it.

But in the interm can you suggest a fairly discrete ( small foot print) high quality device that I could use as a daily flower micro doser? I can understand technical specs etc., but I am looking for your thoughts based on user experience to help me narrow things down. ( up to $500 )Thanks in advance for your response.

Tinymight is a great choice for on the go .It can deliver strong hits off small ammounts and has good extraction power.
Since you like arizer ,maybe take a look at Arizer ArGo ,it is one of the smallest electric portables out there.
If like your dynavap for microdosing, you might explore portable IH options, there are some that are definetly on the smaller side :).
What is the Vmax ? Do you mean X-max V3pro ?

Welcome to posting on FC!
You're going to get a wide range of answers to your question. There are a lot of really good options.

I just got a Tafee Bowle and thinks it's great. I will reach for it more often than the others I have (currently Grasshoppers, Mighty, XMax V3ro, VLeafGo, Milaana3, Splinter Pax). Not a weird as it looks, I'm not using it with the drinking cup option. And it does fit in my jeans pocket, though a little bulky. Remarkably good flavor, ease of use.
Before getting the Bowle recently, I had my eye on Tinymight and FW7, each excellent vapes. I think the Bowle is somewhat better credentialed (designers' creds and history with successful products).

Squidge

Butane powered
I would suggest the Vapman for quality micro dosing at home. It's small, beautiful, lives in an egg when not in use, and is wonderful to use.

I have been thinking about the Tiny Might but they never seem to have any stock. I don't want to buy the same thing as I already have. Yes thanks for the correction it is xmax. Appreciate your reply.

That is something I would consider!

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
tinymight is never in stock except in maybe a few European countries. most order from tinymight directly as a preorder but these days it typically ships in a week and takes a few days for DHL to deliver

Funny enough I was looking at that yesterday on the Vaporific site. Why is there a difference in bowl size?

Bad Dog

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
you say you were on vaporific, are you located in Canada? if so there are import fees on vapes you should know about

First off, Welcome to the FC. The above advice is very good so I'll just add a few comments for added measure. I don't own a V3 but I know lots of folks love them. Didn't know what the quality issue is for you? I was going to suggest a Healthy Rips device like a Fury or Rogue, but I believe they work in similar fashion to the V3.

Some things to consider: butane heated vs battery powered, when you say discreet you mean portable vs desk-top? Discreet from your wife or discreet because you're out walking the dog?

If you went with a dynavap you could heat it with a torch or an induction heater like what @Pipes makes. Dynavap, vapman, sticky bricks are all great devices but a pain in the ass if you're trying to work a torch while your dog is pulling on the leash. That's why a lot of folks prefer battery powered when out at the park or beach, etc.

Another consideration is flower vs concentrate if you have such availability. You don't need to do massive dabs. However, if you had access to concentrates then you could get a dab pen or cartridge pen for outside walks and just take small puffs for a similar effect as puffing on a flower vape.

Finally, if you like vaping and see it as something you will continue with, then just dive in anywhere. Like many of us, you'll have a drawer full of vapes in no time. Enjoy.

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
are you sure you are remembering correctly??? as far as I can remember other than a few European stores the tinymight has always been a preorder from tinymight directly with wait times decreasing over time

Yes I am Canadian, but I can order State side have it delivered there and shipped to me. Yeah I know if order elsewhere it needs to be factored in.

Yes I just checked now. How do I go about ordering it if it indicates out of stock? Thx

for the tinymight add a additional 80-90 dollars Canadian for import fees on that vape. you can still get dinged for taxes ordering from the states if they use a delivery service instead of USPS which seems to slip by just fine:shrug:

you are going to https://tinymightvape.com/index.php?route=common/home right? I don't see anything that says out of stock and I was able to add a tinymight to my cart and begin checkout though I didn't go to far lol. seems to be working to me

Thanks for your great advice as well and the welcome. I bought the Xmax for walking the dog it's just not something I enjoy vaping with regularly ie. daily driver.
Don't care what type of heat source. Just makes my home life more enjoyable using portable vaporizers.:)
I have since November bought the Xmax, the M21, BCG and a thier debowler, and strangely enough I am reaching out to you folks for advice on my next acquisition.

Ship to my inlaws reboxed and shipped here. BTW I am on the web site for the TM. Can be ordered I think as I have it my cart...my bad. What accessories should I place with the order?

Bad Dog

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
for me the only accessory that is truly needed is the wpa, though I mostly use it with a dry stem (j hook) more than my bubbler

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
yes I'm also Canadian, Ontario specifically. wpa= water pipe adapter. between the tiny might and all the accessories I bought with it it was like $450 CDN plus the import fee which actually might have been as low as $70CDN, ive imported a few things so I'm a little fuzzy how much tax was what vape. but I bought way more accessories than I needed so you really get by no problem with a bare bones order

If pocketability and discreteness is a must I'd say the FW7. Feels soo great in the hand. So compact.

But if not, I prefer my Bowle and Vapman over the FW7.

I agree that a Tinymight direct from tinymightvape.com is the easy choice here: more powerful than the Xmax V3 Pro, great for microdosing, easy to pocket for walking the dog, and dead simple to use with just a little knob and button to worry about.

I love using the Tinymight with a j-hook at home and that's what I use the wpa for most of the time. The flavor is greatly improved getting the stainless steel cooling unit out of the vapor path and it also let's me go ten times as long between cleaning the stem

Wouldn't a Tafee Bowle work great at home as well as for a short dog walk?

That is the size (volume) of the drinkware cup, not the bowl of the Bowle (they call their chambers pots lol)

TM and FW7 are my favorite, two sides of the same on demand coin, TM more pure convection, FW more conduction, both near instant on demand and very efficient, versatile with different load sizes, using the WPA water piece adapters allows you to have a more comfortable experience at home with glass j hooks instead of the stock cooling stems which are effective on the go!

Ship to my inlaws reboxed and shipped here. BTW I am on the web site for the TM. Can be ordered I think as I have it my cart...my bad. What accessories should I place with the order?

Yeah TM is easiest because you can order anytime, FW is tough to get and best bet would be scoring one used on Reddit EntExchange until the FW8 comes out probably... Accessories with the TM, if you are going to be using the stock cooling unit, it can be helpful to get a spare one, so you can always have a clean one ready to go (PS be sure to clean all the inner metal parts with iso alcohol before first use, check the TM thread for all the tips!) and of course spare glass stems if you are break prone... Spare o-rings and screens are also helpful... Both WPA (water piece adapters) because the multi-adapter (with 10/14/18 mm connection) has a built-in glass honeycomb screen, which is fun for whole nugs or chunky grind, but more often I am using the plain 18 mm WPA just with a basket screen through a J hook or water piece instead. The extra long stem is useful if you want something that is all in one piece, could be nice for walking the dog, and offer a more comfortable vapor experience than the cooling unit, although it is less portable of course a bit tall and not as good cooling as a j-hook in my experience... The new bubbler looks pretty nice, though larger more of a house piece... Alternatively you can get a ditanium mouthpiece, or acrylic mouthpiece from the Rogue wax works, this can connect to the TM stem, to have a nicer tapered mouthpiece, that can also connect into water 14 mm, and you can load glass beads in the stem for cooling instead of the cooling unit, or you can use it with the cooling unit...

Wouldn't a Tafee Bowle work great at home as well as for a short dog walk?

I'm not so sure that it would, because you could not put it in your pocket if you had to? What if you are picking up after the dog, how do you hold the TB the dog's leash and the poop all at once?? TB could fit in a sweatshirt pocket potentially but it's not so secure so I'm always on edge when I do that lol
