Tafée Bowle

I'm finding the performance of the bowle drops after I get down to say 2 LEDs for battery? Are you guys experiencing similar? I run mine on the highest heat setting. Wondering if I'm in line or below the line on performance. Thanks all! Hope you're all having a good morning.

Been playing with the Tetra P80 for the past 2 weeks and the FW7 since January.

I have to say, as much as I want the P80 to be my fave, I find I’m reaching for the Bowle time and time again. It’s so consistent and instantaneous. I know what I’m getting before taking a pull every single time. While waiting for the P80 to do a 10-20 second iniatial heat soak, already finished one big rip or 2 decent pulls on the Bowle. It’s so simple to use it’s almost boring at times.

Also find I’m barely reaching for the FW7 anymore (I use mostly native and not through glass/water). Awesome vape... just not as good as the other two already mentioned.
i second that. Sold my P80 even. bowle Hits me better and cooler.
waiting on FW7 though meanwhile. and OAB. that should settle it once and for all. will take forever though. Had to go sideways because they dont ship 2 Europe (fw7) or dont Produce atm (OAB).

FW7 is a great complement to the Bowle. Gives you that pocketable factor. So low profile and wood feels great on the hand.

I am also a full convert, Flat MP once you get the feel for it or just none at all. For me, performance is noticeably better this way. Shorter draws, bigger hits, and it all around just feels more natural with the increased airflow.

I wonder if some of the large MP's restrict airflow more than others?
Because as soon as I hit it without an MP and or with the flat one it was a "Holy SHit" moment for me. NO RAGRETS

I was starting to wonder if some of that restriction wasn't intended? After opening up the flat version, I've not looked back either, tonight I'll try her naked!

Same, I def prefer the flat mp (slightly pulled out). I tried it once without a mp but didn't care for it, will try it again.

Mine runs pretty consistently no matter the charge level (though I normally charge it after every 2/3 bowls). I have noticed that my AVB is slightly less dark on a near dead battery (1 battery light), but barely noticeable for me at least, and I normally charge it before it gets to 1 light

I never noticed a performance degradation at 2 LEDs.

The closest I've come to a performance question was how quickly the move from 2 LED's to needing a recharge seemed early on. There were times where I would be at max temp with 2 LEDs and sometimes I'd get more than 5 draws before she turned herself off and at other times I wouldn't.

The reason I got surprised early on is because, for me.....unless I check battery life all the time it's impossible to tell if it just turned to 2 LEDs or whether I've been at 2 LEDS for a bit and now I am one draw away from 1 LED and a recharge.

Eventually it became second nature for me to keep a running count of draws for tracking how many hits were left in the battery.

I know who I'm backing to play blackjack for me:rockon::tup:

I've said it many times, but I like habits. Charging habits after use. Countdown timers. Both Bowles and Hoppers. Usually tap the 15 min button. Habits are good, nkay?

Edit: @MonkeyTime - I always avoid using the term "plug" when Mr. Garrison is nearby

Mods are waiting, watching as we bowle, bowle, bowle our pots, gently down this stream of consciousness, no rapids please, staying on topic, enjoying a f'n fantastic instant on convection vape that even a caveman could use

I like my smart plugs for that too.....

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
My Bowle just died on me 😡 Haven't used it for a couple days while I was on a t break but I decided to treat myself to a bowl of cbd to go with the cbg oil I took but when I went to hit it I got no vapour tried again and again upping the temp nothing. Did the puck reset and I'm leaving it charging until full then trying again. If it shits the bed again I'll be contacting Tafée........... dam it

False alarm 🚨 in my haste to vape I neglected to put the red oring back on the pot........ caught my mistake and all is well 😅 Thank goodness. Sorry for the double post

my Bowl sometimes only stays green (produces heat i guess) for 2 Seconds and then Turns blue without removing my thumb. Sometimes it goes until i let go. do other people experience the same with their Bowl? is the button contact a bit unreliable?

Mine was doing the same thing and getting progressively worse. Battery resets helped some......an RMA solved that issue.

The new puck still displays this behavior once in a while, you but I don't find it an issue (and it could be me not paying attention)

I'm loving this thing, and cleanup is now next to nothing using the tea bag filters!

I found that removing the silicone mouthpiece, air flow was better for me, and I have had fewer occurrences of lights going blue on me. It worked for me: it's worth a try.
Before we agreed to RMA it I was charting and trying all sorts of things. Many had direct requests to draw hard or soft during the hit/session. Just when I thought I'd found something consistent, it changed.

I'm not sure of how or what they're doing software wise, so it's not fair to guess at what the problem is, but I found no correlation to draw strength with my unit.

I also had shutoff issues early on. No problems recently

"intention and attention" during first 5 seconds of draw solved it for me

Consistent, good medium pull, consistency is key. After five seconds, you can go nuts, slower, faster, even do brief pauses. Until the default 23 second shutoff to blue

New users should know it's not a conduction sipper, it needs a good pull

Experienced folk may have used slow to fast draw speed rampups, or warmup cigar style puffs at start with other vapes. Don't use those techniques with Bowle

I said intention and attention -- the attention part is my habit of glancing at the green light, mentally counting. 5 seconds isn't long, so attention can drift after that. Suppose it's an unnecessary habit, as long as I draw firm and steady

And, I'm not saying there are no faulty units. Some may have sensor wire issues? But for me, my draw just needed intention

Yeah when this happens to me, I think it's just I did not have a good grip pressing the button down, we've discussed it in the past, but yeah I wish the buttons style were reversed, that the power button was an outie and the temp button was the innie lol

One possible Bowle travel solution

This 8 inch size Dime Bags pouch is a tight fit, but has very good padding. Short stem only. Six pots fit in an Altoids minis tin, cut thin cardboard as vertical cushion to retain herb in pots. (Edit: should glue it to tin lid) Cute little travel 10,000mAh Quick Charge 3.0 power brick, with equally cute 1 ft short QC 3.0 ambidextrous charge cables. But, power brick didn't fit in pouch with Bowle, need to carry separate. Umm, guess I forgot the cup

Edit: @FlyingLow - read your question below. Bowle is 750mAh, and power bank is 10,000mAh, so quite a few charges I suppose
