I am loving the new Glass Bowls. I've had mine for about 30 days now. I believe they are an improvement over the original Glass Bowl. The Glass Donut does not get too hot, which was a fear of mine. The handle snapped off on my og Glass Bowl - so I am now a fan of the Glass Donut.

Like the OG Glass Bowl, the New Glass Bowl gets filthy quick. It did clean up nicer than the OG Bowl. My OG Glass bowl had some nooks and crannies just that just never seemed to let go of their gunk. The Glass Donut does need a pipe cleaner but its not hard to get that in there. One thing I would like to see is a double weave ti screen for the Glass Bowls.

This bowl likes to be stirred - I use one of those 7th Floor picks to do that. Otherwise, the edges seem to not be as brown. One of my first vapes was an SSV, so I don't mind stirring.

Boil some water, let it cool down for 2-3mins.

Get a mug, put the glass bowl in bowl side down so it stands, pour the water into the spout(WPA) of the bowl, keep pouring until the water level meets top of the glass. Give it a lil swirl, just the hot water and pouring pressure should deal with the rest. Repeat 2-3x should be squeaky clean.

That’ll be the ideal way, a very very thin hashish or kief coin 🤩🤩🤩🤩
I do remember those kief pressses, they look nice indeed!!!!
I can’t wait to see your results.
Pics will be awesome, and a little video even better 🤩🤩
Stay vaped!
Mantente de la mente!!!

p.s: am I getting old and my mind playing tricks on me, were you the Pink Panther avatar and cool pics with the Pink Panther with vapes??
Or I’m confusing you with another member??
Either way, I can’t wait to see kief coins!!!
Okay no the Kief coins work splendidly! Just had to shave them a bit then push it down into the shovel head bowl so it’s a tight fit. First few draws are tough but then it softens up and after a few good hits, stir and watch out!!! I’ll see if I can figure out how to post pics! Oh but naw I never had a Pink Panther avatar. Peace.

Has anyone here bought a VROD essentials kit from lacentralevapeur?
I'm trying to ascertain whether it's the same as the other essential kits I've seen, or not.
They don't have the 18mm post or a dabber tool listed so I'm assuming they're not included them to keep the cost down ?? And deciding whether to put in an order for a glass bowl and an 18mm post from Vapefiend in the hope of timing the delivery right for a double drop from the postie.

I couldn't tell you what their order had in it, but I know we do encourage resellers to make their own bundles, including sourcing their own electronics. So it is possible that they do so... thankfully we were recently able to fulfill lots of international resellers!

We're kind of taking over the world. lol

Today was a convection dab day. Dropped a Elev8r flavor disk in the shovelhead with a small dab. 695 Degrees and a few puffs to warm the disk and flavor city was reached. Small tiny dab just wouldn’t stop hitting. Everything thing I’ve thrown at the vrod it has shined.

Unless it starts producing winning lottery numbers, not much more I can say about how good I like this device.

My tap water gets hot enough to easily clean the glass bowl even when it's super gunked up. Don't even have to remove the screen. It cleans very easily! Definitely a fan of the new bowl after a few months of use 👍

I hate to say it but we don't! My guess it's probably just too easy to have it sent from the US, aside from paying international shipping, my experience is that duties are not exorbitant. If anyone has had a different experience, please feel free to correct me on that.

me and my friend have placed a few orders to canada and only the packages with "weedeater" get charged probably due to Canadian legislation. it was around $90 canadian for each of the 2 big orders we did with "weed" in the name. they treat the bundle as one item too, which means we pay duties for the total value also, not just the weedeater head.

edit for clarity: canada customs values the "weedeater head" as the total order amount, not $75 usd.

Thanks for the tip, I'll take this upstairs so we can make it easier on our Canadian neighbors!

yeah it seems trivial to play with descriptions but i guess thats cannabis legality for you. I have a couple friends who want a bundles but are scared to pay duties and exchange rate so if theres any way to separate invoice values you will surely gain many happy canadian customers lol. Thanks for the reply!

Newbie here so apologies in advance if I'm posting this in the wrong thread - I've got a question about temperature settings you guys are using with the Weedeater...

My VXH Evo has just died after two years and although I loved it, I'm not so impressed that it didn’t last longer - that and the fact it is out of stock everywhere in this corner of the world prompted me to look around and I've just taken the plunge with the WE 🙂

However I'm a bit confused at the high temps I see folks are using on this beauty - seems to be anywhere between 600 and 750 F - is that right? Seems awfully high compared to what I was using on the Evo, but I had my first go last night at 750F and the ABV was a nice toasty brown afterwards...

I understand there are a lot of variables at play here, but am I right in assuming the reason for the temp folks are using being so high is because that's the temp of the coil rather than the temp of the airing through the bowl? You have to work on trial and error to find your groove?

Any advice much appreciated 👍

Welcome to FC my friend. Sounds like you’re understanding. I am sensitive to high heat. I use a Vrod with more thermal mass which I find allows me to run at lower temps. I usually hover around 600f. I also raise the screen up in the bowl which brings the herbs closer to the head requiring less temperature. I do use a carb cap which also adds to temp reductions. All this combined with draw speed and restriction will change what temp is settled on. I’d look at the VRod too but I think you would also be happy with the WeedEater if you’re strictly a flower user.

Seems like you have it down. I'd like to say, when talking about FlowerPot temps, it is spoken in the language of the PID reading. You can get scientific and figure out your delta and calculate the temp at the dish and the air temp. I know there are probably some experiments done on this thread a while back. But the easiest way to communicate with others (on this thread and such) is to speak from the setting on your PID.

Everything else kinda works itself out after that. Hope that makes sense...lol

I run my WE anywhere from 700-777. Usually low 700's for daytime and 777 for evenings (Auber 300). The other Auber I have running at 535 on the Supreme V6. I get scientific by the amount of herb, draw speed, and temp. I've found I generally like a hotter temp setting than is recommended. I'm not a session guy, just a pack and rip man. If you use the EVO like the I did to mimic bong hit you'll probably like the 700's.

I waffled between the evo and the flowerpot for over a year, your post makes me happy I went with the FP, can't foresee this thing dying.

I often run my weedeater at 666F, but lately have been testing out at lower temps or higher draw speed. It really is about draw speed, faster you draw the more your need to turn up your controller. The best advice I have is to keep experimenting and not get stuck on one temp, especially when trying new strains. If I run at 700 or higher the load is gonna be dark brown after just a hit. The highest I usually go is 680, and that is with hash sprinkled on top.

IDK if this is the same for everyone else, but it seems like I get around 2-3 hits no matter how much a put into the bowl, maybe can squeak out a 4th hit sometimes. The larger bowls just pack more of a punch/have denser vapor than smaller loads. Do others have similar experience? I think smaller loads are definitely more efficient.

i know it was a limited run, but I missed the Vrod OG carb cap while it was available. However, I really like the way it looks and fits on the vrod compared to the universal. Is there any hope of another run or it returning altogether?

Oh no not me. I may get 2 or 3 hits from a light pack just covering the screen but if I load it up and hit at 600 I can get 10 or more really nice hits! It seems to never stop producing! Can’t tell you how often I empty the bowl before it stops producing vapor but it’s most of the time. Taste degrades of course after several hits.

I believe they said they “found a few” in old stock? I feel you on the OG VRod carb having a look about it. I own both and I prefer the universal carb over it. I think the one hole carb design of the universal cap out preforms the two hole OG. I also use the universal carb when using 25mm dishes on the Vrod opposed to the 28mm stock SiC dish and the universal works on my WE and soon to own TBucket so you’re covered if you branch out to other NV products. But if you are into owning everything NV ,like me, you should try to find one. 😂
Edit: here is a link back to a pick of my collection. I wish I could find one of the Lolli carbs to add.
