Indux Labs Concentrate vaporizer

lazylathe

Almost there...
I discovered this new vape on IG a day or so ago.
It appears to be a massive Loto Lux type device that will actually work.

Apparently with this vape you can set how it heats up your concentrate using various combinations of Ti pins.

Extremely expensive and no reviews yet...
One guy on IG has a tester unit and so far he likes it.
Straight off, I am not a fan of the silicone hose.

https://induxlabs.com/

A description from the site:

Hand-assembled in the USA and made with industrial grade components, REFLUX is built to last, and delivers the preeminent concentrate experience at the push of a button.

A minimalist design with unmatched flexibility gives you unique analog control over vaporization. REFLUX is the only electromagnetic concentrate vaporizer that offers selective interchangeability of a collection of heating element configurations of various shape, size, material, and quantity to provide unprecedented control over the temperature ramp and Vapor TextureTM of your concentrate.

REFLUX’s revolutionary Slow-TempTM heating process reveals the purest essence by delicately building vapor intensity from the lightest mist through your ideal cloud (Mist-Through-CloudTM). With Slow-Temp you have time to savor the very onset of vaporization when concentrates and terpenes taste their best. Then as the temperature continues to gently ramp-up you experience waves of flavor as the components of your concentrate reach their vaporization points. You will taste your concentrates like you’ve never tasted them before.

The unmatched flavor/gram efficiency of Slow-Temp provides superior flavor over a longer period of time while actually giving you the ability to conserve your concentrates.

Slow-Temp also gives you unprecedented control over the compounds being formed and vaporized. By only reaching the vaporization points of the components you want to vaporize it’s easy to prevent unwanted compounds from forming. Please do not subject your respiratory system to the unnecessary temperatures of conventional dabbing.

I did say... Extremely expensive.
Was a bit scared to put the price in the thread...LOL!!!

Whats more puzzling is they have ZERO use videos...

Oh and their Reflux 00_7TEN is $2,500.00
Fully portable and battery operated in a Sci-Fi Post-Punk briefcase!

Is it just me or is the name "Reflux" a dodgy name? I mean it's making me think of indigestion
Looks sketchy just by the fact you Google it and you get indegestion info . The design doesn't seem new to me tbh looks like a volcano with more power in the heater... From an engineering stand point I don't see how they can provide the best flavor while also vaporizing the Thc. Unless they have some kind of draw algorithm but I'm sure that'll fuck up eventually burning or not giving you the desired level of vaporization.

jwatttt,

All my days in a daze...
Take the hose away and that screams overpriced pseudo 'audiophile' type product to me.
Very similar look, company name and highly esoteric design claims.
Indux Labs new $10,000 DAC/AMP combo with patented Silicone Hose Acoustic Technology (SHAT).

Exactly, meanwhile the audio phile has speakers better than his human ears... But he can't hear the difference... Vaporizing concentrates can only get so good? I mean convection heating rods in your dish sounds like a serious health hazard you being irradiated by convection magnetism used to heat the rods... I mean you can tune them to be quite precise but shit why just take a dab off a quartz nail. I personally get the black lung with any TI and any Vape pens, even my puffco peak gives me some lung problems here and there. I bet this would be the same if not worse. Shit my volcano gives me lung problems so I doubt there's any kind of heating they can do that won't heat the air unless they find a way to heat my dabs with lazers and vaccums. Then I'll pay 10k fuckit

They are having a live demo today at 8pm PDT showing how it works.
From the people I have been talking to, it has changed their minds about vaping concentrates.

The one guy is an Errlectric fan and loves dabbing off it.
He says he can now has 300 second hits from one load and the flavor never gets bad.
Pure from start to finish with consistent flavor.

I have no interest in this device or any concentrate vape but maybe this needs to be tried before bashing it?
Not that many people will hand over that amount of cash...

Hopefully they will release it on youtube!

I don't have a problem with the price if the vaping experience is that good. For the type of high end hobbyist who is willing to pay for the best possible experience, I could see it.

Now I'm not a whip guy at all, and not that into session vaping; so this isn't really for me - and frankly, I can do temperature ramping uptemps off my MaxVapor controller without 100 different heating elements. But people who like whip vapes, and want to do a "dab" without a nail or a bubbler, or a pen - this could be a unique option.

I use to build those enails I have a CCA 710 induction and it all ends up the same at the end to me. Yes more flavor with enail but sometime I don't want to hit it for 300 seconds that's a long ass time!! I would prefer to medicate in a timely manner with good flavor and nice milky hit. Most of these Vape give me the Vape lung too long of a hit for the vapor production. If I just dab off a quartz nail no such issue. A good quality one even better. Why pay this much I have about 3k in useless bullshit Vape crap that is realistically not usable or safe. Like the volcano and dnail and CCA 710 the tech isn't new just a new form.

Dry continuous Vapor without water just hurts your lungs. Think about it this way the convection rods are still producing heat in the air in the chamber so the vapor will still be dry. Putting it through a bubbler will cool it down a bit. Solvent less mind on insta has one and he was using a bubbler Attachment. I'd imagine it's hard to clean, easy to break vials. Vials are expensive. I'm sure if you heat it to much you Chaz the vial!? I'm just thinking about this product from a longevity aspect and I don't see it being a rig replacement or worth this amount of money? I'm sure the dab load time and how much cleaning is required to keep it in tip top shape would be a pain for a price it's like how much maintence and cost a volcano requires to run well and clean. I have an induction nail I built myself that I use with a CCA 710 that is crap, a dnail quartz a dnail sapphire. Dnail silicon carbide. I don't see the price being worth it having purchased all these devices and realizing too much vapor for too long is actually hard on the lungs too. I have all these guys on the shelf because I'd rather just use the eternal splash guard quartz nail with sapphire, ruby, quartz beads, more vapor and I can tailor the hit by taking dab at different temps. Once you take enough dabs off your setup you know how to get the compound you want If you have a temp gun... Cold starts FTW.

Keep in mind you don't have a problem using a rig and nail though. There's a whole segment of people who want to use concentrates without bangers and bongs who I could see wanting a setup like this. I can't see the point of running this through a bubbler though, at that point might as well use a enail. I see this being marketed toward the older demographic who, in my experience tends to love concentrates, but aren't big fans of torching nails.

Also I could almost bet you most of the reason you can't tolerate your other vapes is due to the metal. That's why the all glass/crystal setup is so much smoother for you. I only know this cause I'm the same way, I even built my own sapphire flower vape to eliminate metals from the vapor path as I have a harsh reactivity to all of it myself.

Volute of Vapor
Mmmh... I'm thinking to place an order for this heating elements to see if they fit my Legend. Since a few time I use mine without the capsules but with Lux susceptor directly in the glass bowl or I put a SS capsule around the outer end of the glass dab bowl like that I get a boro hit (sadly not a quartz hit but still tastier than from "susceptors") although heating time is pretty long like that (unlike with rods, rods heat up very fast!).

It's pretty interesting to see the temperature isn't controlled by unit but depends of the rod's configuration, in short: more small heating elements lower the T° (in fact it will take longer to achieve the same target temperature) and less bigger heating elements increase the temperature! I don't know if that work with my own induction e-rig but a try is worth it (on the Legend you can turn temp up&down but it's not a precise control feature)

PPN I think this is exciting because I agree the loto labs prototype and Lux and legend the susceptors look relatively same as with this machine but this has portable options the tabletop reflux is plug in with outlet and the rarer one is the 00 briefcase which cost more but is battery powered it looks like a suitcase with a record table excited about this project

Reviews are just now starting to come out it seems. Feedback has been very positive thus far especially when it comes to efficiency and flavor. I'm not still sure myself and want to see more. I imagine the law of diminishing returns might apply here so whether its worth it will be personal and subjective.

Conversely, just because its expensive doesn't mean its overpriced.

Hmmmmm. Sometimes websites have a rediculus price set for things that are out of stock and they really are not that price. It usually changes when the product is actually released. I'm guessing this never came to fruition.

I use to work in high end audio, we had stereo speakers that were over $100,000 a pair. Of course if they sounds better when paired with the right equipment...but talk about the law of diminishing returns.
I was going through the thread, I couldn’t figure out what the heating insert was made off? Is it crystal? Metal? Or a high end ceramic?

I was wrong here. I emailed them and that is the correct price.

I believe the heating chamber is quartz made by @zachharrison glass on IG. Inside the chamber looks to be a quartz rod with a Ti or SS rod inside. It would have to be metal I believe to gather heat through induction. Below is a video showing the heating chamber.

Cool to see someone make some elements that isolate the metal from the extract!
