TinyMight vs Tetra P80

I do not see the answer to the solder question on the first page of this thread......you wrote this...is this what you mean?:

Sorry.....but I'm not sure what that detail is you refer too....?

Not this thread, the original Tubo thread... And not posted by me, but the creator... Maybe I wasn't clear enough

That's not fair. We are comparing these two units so design elements are fair game for comparison. or did we somehow introduce an element from a third unwanted entry?

Fair? I meant don't go by my post here... As you have neither of the units and are inferring from limited information... I don't know what you mean by the last sentence, but to me you've become the third unwanted entry in these threads lol

I also did a cursory look and found nothing that provided any hints on design elements. Doesn't mean they aren't there but a 125-someodd posts is not where one needs to be pointed to go find a few specific words. All maker posts on FC are either hamstrung with missing images or lack of consolidated information. There is no inherent word limit in a forum. There is only disorganization. Just like my home; if I can't find it, I ask. Usually I find it while asking.

I saw it in the first page on that first post, if you're so interested email the creators of these things yourself and get all the information or look it up yourself like the rest of us do by using the search function or yes reading it all through if you actually care... Asking may seem convenient for one, but it can get on another one's nerves when the first one can look for themselves. Maybe look before asking the next times?

And while I am at it, I'll give my :2c:
I want a TM in my humble collection. I saw the early P80 posts and didn't get it. In my very personal opinion, it lacks style. Almost like marrying a MOD to a log with Lego. Not my cup of tea. Even if P80 out-performed the TM by 3 fold, then neither would get one iota of VAS attention from me. I get the design. I understand both perform amazingly well. They both stand out in the crowd. I am biased based on aesthetics. That doesn't mean I am not interested in the design elements of both. Very much so as a matter of fact.

Okay good for you, I know what your feelings are now, and hope you'll excuse me if I refrain from replying to you further... Sorry, but I don't think our vibes mesh and frankly I've had enough :peace:

If you already have the tetrax (basically p80), is it even worth getting the TM? Does the TM produce vapor similar to the tetra?

Short answer no, different experience due to the different heaters and technology, both very powerful pure convection on demand, but they can be quite complimentary. Especially if you have the X, I would recommend the TM!

Want to buy TM right now , but can’t . it is nowhere in stock. and payment by card is not yet available on official site

VapCap is unique bc the bowl size is always tiny even filled full, this is going to be a different experience, though similarly efficient (just different, different vapor signature, different high, different type of extraction)
In what way are the highs different?

I can't really describe that, high is high, but vapor signature is a connoisseur level differentiation, while all glass stem based pure convection on demand portables deliver top tier vapor: best flavor and efficiency in my experience.

Vapor Quality is a tricky topic as it can be very subjective (involving taste, clouds, and extraction) though I will say both of these have top tier vapor quality thanks to pure materials and strong power. However the heaters are totally different designs, with different regulation (digital screen vs analog dial) as well, so this just results in a different experience though both are equally effective at getting you gone!

Edit: Huge clouds. GREAT/WOW flavor at level 10.5. I'm digging it. It's like the water pipe is what you hold and the vape you connect to it as needed. Cooling unit with coarse screen in milaana works wonderfully.

Oh haha did you mean to post this in the main TM thread?

I have the same Evolver HydraCirc tube (and their HydraTree too) but have not used it with the TM yet...

Also btw if you paste the bb code, instead of the links, your image will appear here inline with your text so we don't need to click through to see :)

Yeah, I meant to post this in TM thread, but works here. Lol.

It's actually pretty secure because you hold the glass and bring the vaporizer to it. Whereas with the Evo you do the opposite...

I think my browser, duck duck go, screws up the picture in post link thing, at least on my phone.... doesnt work, just the links...:\

And it hits hard. Almost Evo clouds.

already many have TM and enough time has passed. who can say in the final opinions of Tinymight better than the Tetra p80? in category 1. heavy hitter 2. Battery performance 3. heating time.
thanks

How does the milaana series vapor quality compare to the p80 and tinymight? I know milaana is unregulated compared to these, just want to know with proper technique can the milaana keep up with these 2 little beasts.

Absolutely no slouch, fresh battery in Milaana can rip real hot n fast, though I prefer a slow sip controlling extraction with a natural temp step if you can nail the technique (very manual device so you gotta spend time with just it imo so you can really hone in on your style to get the most out of it) with Mi2/3 the airflow is restricted from the original Milaanas which does help regulate your draw for more consistency since there are so many variables.

TM and TP80 are automatic with more airflow so they are easier to rip quick, doing a slow sip in them actually takes more effort compared to Milaana in my experience. So they can all extract equally well with phenomenal taste and thick clouds, but I find Mi better as a sipper and TP80 better as a ripper... Tinymight may be solid in between, but they all do depend on individual usage variables and can work very similarly... But of course different heaters and levels of regulation or lack thereof!

sorry this is really basic, but i am bit confused on the sipping vs ripping terminology (not a native speaker). are these opposites? i think i get the idea of "ripping through a bowl" = fast forceful extraction. then sipping would mean just taking small light draws? more akin to mouth to lung?
& a higher draw resistance is what makes this easier to do on a milaana? quick vapor production would be a requirement too i think. i have a firely 2 - high draw resistance (which i dont mind), but it does require pretty long draws, i wouldnt characterise this as "sipping". more like going diving (i do like it fine).
sipping makes me think of hot tea & straws. the mighty seems more sippable to me than the firefly.

i am only asking because 1. high(er) draw resistance & 2. quick vapour production seems to be a highly desirable combo for someone coming from smoking joints (like myself). a pretty lengthy draw seems *more or less* part of every vaporiser experience, and is i believe also part of what some people find unattractive about them.
the closest thing to a joint i found so far were the dynavaps. but i have not tried milaana / tubo & p80 / or tinymight yet.

it is possible i am totally misunderstanding you, and either way there might not be a good way to answer this. but i noticed you using these terms before, & meant to ask you then already. so here goes.

@im not a robot – I think „sipping“ refers to more of a slow paced, easy going session in general, not so much the length of the draw. I agree very much with @Shit Snacks, the Tinymight is not quite ideal for that, because even at lower temps it extracts superfast. A .05g session in a Dynavap will take me about 5 to 6 draws if I'll go easy, the TM will finish it in 1, maybe 1½ hits easily and there's not much I can do about it. I found a way to have a slow session with the TM recently, but it involves a different stem, a glass spacer, two cup screens and keeping the dial at 6. :-)

Haha I skimmed but, Milaana is exactly that, sip longer slower draw works best, but it is quick to vapor (8 sec more or less depending on battery and how heat soaked) so compared to Firefly it is an almost similar yet much more killer experience, unregulated but draw is more open

Also yes @Siebter cept Milaana can be quick too, but tinymight is just a quicker extracter

ah, thank you siebter, that makes sense. i might ask you for further details re this at some point. i did end up ordering the dosing capsules & a bunch of screens from mistvape (he was also nice enough to include a stem, i think just on the offchance this would fit the tinymight (i explained it was for the tm), so am looking forward to experimentations!
