I didnt see the LSV as a micodoser's vape but I think it can be made to work.

Check my post history in this thread bro, I was literally vaping a CRUMB of herb, and milking my bong with it!

At this point, I think i've tried basically ALL Desktop vapes, and many portables over the past 15 years, and from all my VAS Nostalgia, this one and the Supreme are the best top two. I really liked that VHW too, but way too fragile for my clumsiness!

This one is so easy to use and put away too, since i'm not into being tethered at a "vape station" anymore.

@Alexis I really think it's possible if you set the dial low enough that this one will not give you any issues! I think I remember getting that "blue vapour", and definitely remember the snap/crackle/pop sound of the trichs bursting. It's really like a log vape on steroids with much better airflow and the ability to go small, or large!

Couldn't find any on the used market, thinking about buying a blem model from Elev8 to give it a go!

@Alexis the simple airpath and gong connection of this vaporizer is super appealing. I've been thinking of buying a WeedEater for Black Friday to hook up to my MaxVapor controller, but I really want a glass path over metal. Seems ironic there's more vaporizers on the market than ever, but there just aren't many options that are that pure with the vapor path. I've also considered the Elev8r and hooking up to my enail but I wish it had a simpler bowl for pairing with a 16mm coil setup.

@SSV_Steve_Elev8 The perfect quartz vaporizer design mated perfectly to an enail coil would have real potential IMO!!

@invertedisdead good evening over in CA. As good as the vapor quality and potency of the Elev8r is, I really don't think that is the direction you want to go in for what you ate looking for currently I've pretty much abandoned my Elev8r. I gave up with the coil a long time ago because it was too fiddly and awkward and also very very dangerous.

Used as a DD for life, make sure you keep that fire brigade on speed dial because you're gonna need them one day for sure!:lol:

I nearly did a few times and Im pretty damn safe with vapes and hazards.

Torching the Elev8r is a bit tedious, most of all I didn't appreciate having to be constantly mindful of of the exact level of lingering heat from hit to hit to get consistently smooth and worthwhile extractions without going too hot and charring the load and irritating throat a little bit.

Even with technique and timing down to a t it's not the most relaxing ways to get stoned where essentially I like my mind to switch off and let go.

Such as the LSV would allow.

@biohacker huge appreciation for your thoughts and testimony. I sure hope to try it. Ideally I will end up with both the LSV and VHW, need the LSV as backup for when that glass cover breaks lol.

Better start with the SSV first, one step at a time.

That was my exact experience as well, but that was before I purchased an IR thermometer. Mine works on quartz bangers, so perhaps it would be good enough for the Elev8r? I love me some downtemp vapour! :D I do find it very weird that people have indicated that they prefer the taste of the glass heater over the quartz though. And as far as I know, the glass one has been discontinued?

There is also another vape... I can't remember the name of it buy I think Lazy has one, it looks like a vertical glass bat and is torched and attached to a glass adapter similar to elev8r style... now with an IR, I think that may actually be pretty awesome. I'll have to dig...I think PV sold them too. EDIT: VAPOCANE!!!

Ideally I will end up with both the LSV and VHW, need the LSV as backup for when that glass cover breaks lol.

:rofl:Honestly my dude, I don't think you will like the VHW at all... that vapour always had me coughing and sneezing like I was rhymin and stealin! :D

Always thought this would be an awesome Halloween vape w/ the cover on too. Has sort of a Jack-o-lantern effect.

With a dark colored LSV, and one of these unbelievable Vape-o-Lantern SSVs you would have no problem getting in the mood!

What a stunner. Just remember not to put M&Ms and nuts in the bowl while you vape!

Good deal!! I see you have that adapter, have you seen our bowls that match up to the spherical part of the lsv? https://www.elev8glassgallery.com/lsv-water-pipe-adapter/ Thanks a lot for the support!
Yes I have the Og WPA.
It works OK but I’ll be honest it’s not as efficient as my current set up. With that one there’s too much space between the load and the heat source...it just takes longer to finish a bowl and the clouds aren’t quite as dense.

The adapter I have now with those baskets makes for a quite pleasurable vaping experience :peace:

The TALL sized OEM WPA must be the biggest herb bowl for a vape bong on the market. Must be able to stick a full gram in there! :D Must be fun though!
I think the Herbo XL and Verdamper (Lazy's favorite now almost did you see, i think he is fairly adamant it is his hardest hitting vaporizer ever, I tried to tell all you guys, it f#c☆ks you up!), could give the LSV wpa bowl size a run for it's money.

It's actually partly the size of the herborizer XL bowl which is is dissuading me from making use out of it again and deciding to keep it.

Apart from the humongous size of it I just don't like the handling especially the injector which is ridiculously designed handle-wise by a man who is more capable than IMO haha.

But also what encourages me about the LSV and SSV, is the ceramic heating element which is the same as the Herborizer XL, although I'm still a bit unclear as to exactly what is in the airpath because most people have made the assumption that it is only stainless steel and Glass but I was under the impression that the ceramic was in there as well, can't remember now, the ceramic might be fully encapsulated.

Anyway I'm hopeful. And pretty keen too, much more so after all you guys here with all the experience have shown such appreciation for the LSV.

I was referring to the LSV!
Ahhhh, seeee!

So I still should go back to first grade and school myself on the XL Herbo. I just can't recall now whether the ceramic is entirely encapsulated in SS.

It's irrelevant anyway. I will try the SSV and if it goes well spring for LSV and return SSV to Lazy, either way.

Thanks for clearing that up bro, hope today is going well. Healing from my cracked sternum gradually, easier to breathe by the day.

Steam, shower, edibles to come, by which point I am free to chill or whatever. Looking forward to that point daily and always so nice to get there after going through the mill each morning.

ouch, hope you feel better soon. Maybe with a hurt sternum, a forced air unit like the Super surfer would be better. With the whip it can blow the vapor into your face making a nice cool hit and easy on the chest. Oh and our heaters are fully encased in ceramic. We were the first vape company to use this type of heater and we only use the highest quality in the industry made in Japan as they are ceramic pros.

Oh ya the SSV has a small hole like it always has. The Super has to come through the bottom, but is still separated from any electronics. I guess I meant the heating element, and together the cover and element do make the heater as Stickstones said :)
