Just copped three 1 gr. pods to augment floral vaping. Consider me a convert! Before driving off I checked all the pods to ensure they weren't leaking. I suggest keeping the pods upright since the oil seeps downward. If a pod is angled or on its side the oil will follow. I actually remove the pod and store it upright between hits. ;)

Are these only in NorCal?

Thats not good for medical patients who can't keep it upright. My wife might have a problem with this. I am tired of the hype! Break this out to us. I am willing to work with its short comings even if I have to monitor the usage of it. Thats great two hits for relief. Thanks @Pappy for your input!

Just curious, but doesn't defeat all the purpose of portability if a pod leaks? Of the few ccell I had only one give me an issue like that and the vendor sent me a new one because it wasn't supposed to happen.

I can only speak for myself. I've had 5 pods now and none leaked.

Well I have had one and it did leak (still not replaced as promised either). I think the pods have different pressures inside and outside due to their design and during shipment, with a seal area that cannot support the difference in pressures . . . leaks. Its fairly obvious, lets hope the issue is addressed.

I learned a lesson at your expense, t-dub, to QC the pods before taking them home. The dispensary pods were wrapped in a silicone condom to prevent leakage, something the promotional pods lacked. Was your pod wrapped in a condom? The dispensary should replace it. I'd be surprised if Hanu Stone doesn't stand behind it. The deliberate soft launch signifies corporate responsibility IMO. The product is in "Alpha", so to speak, and Hanu Stone is tweaking its systems while solidifying partnerships and a distribution network. Having gone through a 6-pack of pods, or so, I think Hanu Stone + Hanu pods show promise.

HANU STONE versus PAX ERA
After conducting extensive side by side comparisons of Hanu Stone and the Pax Era I’m startled how much more I prefer Hanu Stone. Both brands are functionally similar employing plug and play pre-filled pods yielding encapsulated THC concentrate without muss or fuss. They both deliver on this promise, with the proviso that Hanu Stone pods are far stronger than Pax. Terpenes taste fresher, the buzz is bigger and lasts longer, and the clouds are thicker with Hanu Stone. Hanu Stone’s bigger battery accounts for some of this. Pax pods use a wick, and Hanu Stone uses a ceramic system which also contributes to better taste. Hanu Stone’s design is far more elegant than Pax Era. Pax feels disposable and looks like a Juul, which is its kissing cousin. I’d compare Pax to an entry level Dell. Hanu Stone feels more substantial, solid, and well balanced, like a Mac. Hanu Stone pods are available in 1 gram. Pax Era tops out at .05 grams.

Here's some areas where I prefer Pax over Hanu Stone. Pax has a far vaster distribution network so Pax pods are more readily available. Pax has a flat bottom and can be placed upright. Hanu Stone is curved and not table friendly. Keeping pods in an upright position is easier with Pax. Pax is slightly more discreet.

Are you using the same exact oil in both devices when you make that comparison?

I guess design is subjective, but literally everything about the Era screams Apple/Mac to me. The sleek lines, the ultra light weight, the LED logo, the gyroscopic feedback, the app, even the box it comes in.

The most Mac-esque attribute I really see on the Hanu is the price tag.

No, but I know how to grade the quality of a high.

Have you handled/seen/used a Hanu Stone?

Doesn't it seem kinda subjective without using the same oil though? Apples vs oranges? There's so many different types of pods available. For example: co2 oil pod made with dried nugs will never taste as terpy as a live resin sauce pod, doesn't have anything to do with the hardware. I'm not disagreeing with your experience, I just think not comparing the same exact concentrate is going to skew the results.

Nope, haven't seen them on a single menu, and I check weed menus all the time to try and stay up to date with the industry. I'm seeing the Ccell Dart platform gain more and more traction though. I'm such a control freak/fan of the full e-nail style temperature control on the Pax though, I really struggle with the idea of going back to fixed output voltage with no adjustability.

I'm a fan of Beezle Extracts and mostly following this one because they are one of the processors filling Hanu pods.
Honestly I've mostly been using 510 thread again lately as liquid live resin Era pods have been so slow to hit our CA market, but now that there's a bunch of new processors doing live resin sauce pods here, I'm admittedly a bit less interested in the Stone; though I'm their target demographic for sure.

I would most definitely love to attend a Hanu Stone pop-up event to demo one. I'd buy it on the spot if I enjoyed the experience over my Era.
