You can put in a liquid pad of the mighty to significantly reduce the chamber. I use it for hash and it's amazing.
I usually fill half the chamber unaltered, and can take my time with consuming it.
But I do have to agree, alltough it is a truly awesome vape, it is not great for truly microdosing like the lotus for example.
So you could put screen in as normal, then the pad, and finally dry herb on top? How hard is stirring? Do the pads get clogged and if so how would you clean it?

I would put the pad, then the normal screen, then stirring is just as normal and seems like a pretty permanent smaller chamber fix.
Again, that is how I would do it, but I don't do it, I fill half the chamber and use the pad for hasj.
But I'm pretty shure this is the solution you are looking for.

Handy to have dentist pliers, as the pad is just snug to fit, yet difficult to get out without a tool, if you have one, it's easy.

i would second that the SB is not to be mastered very quick but the great hits you can get are quite worth some practice, that the AVB looks greener / fresher than in most other Vapes and that it is not the king of Microdosing.
It s certainly doable but it is not "inviting" like for example a Vapman or Vapcap. Personally i think like this is good as it is and the niche of the SB - Butane powered, quick, Macrodosing :rockon:which in my opinion, the other ones can not deliver in such a way...

@Doktor Dub macrodosing! Love it! And its exactly why i save my brick for the weekends, a nice treat to blow through a bowl quickly!

I do have a Vapcap as well, I'm just always looking to conserve as unfortunately my state doesn't have legal recreational. The SBJ is so much better tasting than the Vapcap so I'm trying to get the best of both worlds lol. I figure a smaller usage sbj would be perfection in my book. It would represent the best of all worlds.

Does it have to be the pads for the mighty? I believe I ordered the ones for dosing capsules which are slightly smaller. Shouldn't be an issue since it's just propping up the screen correct?

If you have some cash to spare, keep an eye out for a lotus on the classifieds they can come cheap.
I think the lotus might suit you better if good taste and micro dosing is your thing. Great vape as well.

sorry for double post,

and yeah I think you could place a dosing cap without lid in the chamber and put a screen on that, less restrictive and would work as a spacer.

This is great advice too and luckily I have some leftover so now the only issue is screen placement. How do you guys insert the screens with inverting them? Mine always go in awkwardly.

I make a little dome out of the screen with my fingers (decreases the diameter a bit ;) ) and insert the screen with the dome top facing up, then gently push it flat again with a s&b brush handle or a flat pencil - the same to get it out, push the screen with the brush a bit downwards to dome it and it falls out.
There is a lot of ways to play with capsules or parts of them... - eg i had trouble with a similar vape with scorching (dreamwood dlx) the capsule lid on top of the load can help preventing that, but i got it dialed in now...

The dosing capsules dont work in conjunction with the screen on top. It's too close to the top of the bowl. I ordered the liquid pads so hopefully they aren't as tall as the dosing capsules.

I think i already know my answer to this question, but i thought id ask here anyway-

Being the impatient (when it comes to new toys that is) kinda guy i am, i never cleaned my sbj out before first use. So my mouthpiece tube seems to have little splintery bits of wood mixed up in the reclaim in. Will this still be safe to drink in stem milk, with the bits of walnut in, or should i just clean it out and discard this first round?

(I have since givin the insides of the brick a good old brush with a pipe cleaner and looooads of dust/ shaving type of woody stuff came out, deaf tastes nicer now!)

A shame of the wood shavings, mine did not have those if I remember correctly.

I would say it make your milk, but pour it trough a fine net or a coffeefilter and it should be fine.

Just did started the sunny day with my sbj. I picked up a quad firebird lately at a local tobacco shop. Too much power for my VCs but it gets the the most of my jbr.! :whoa: I direct the flame almost horizontal to the flame intake and slowly draw in the flame indirectly to the intake. Carb hole covered with the cork. I get lots of big and tasty hits and the flower changes its color and taste evenly. No hotspots, no chance to combust

I picked up the Vector Urbano triple flame that is my new fave with the SBJr.
Quiet igniter and nice fluffy ambient light blue flame. Huge, effortless clouds with zero char. Love it.

What's your technique with a triple torch? Have one for my Omni but thought it would be way too risky for the Brick. Since you said no charring at all tho im very curious!

Are you talking about the triple in-line flame torches that come from Dynavap? Those have such a huge flame at its lowest setting, it's ridiculous.
This Vector torch, when dialed down, the dark blue of each flame is like 3/8 - 1/2 inch tall, and the 3 flames together in a pyramid put off a nice ambient light blue that I hover over the intake as I draw.
Can be done with the in-line triple flame, but just too big a flame, too close to my grill.

@Doktor Dub i heard someone say that theirs cracked after they put their lid back on straight after a sesh, but yeah one would kind of expect the intake to be suitable for rapid heating/ cooling.

Reach out to them directly, they have been massively helpful to me in the past, great CS with those guys.

Thank you sir, i wrote a mail to @VapoShop where i bought it. I will let you know how it goes, i they can t help me i will contact @StickyBricks directly.

Have a great day!
