HELP - Issues with THC / Smok TFV8 Baby Beast

Recently, I've filled up my mod with a mixture of a couple types of juices, for the lack of a better choice. One is 1 nic, one is 3, and one is 24. This has been working just fine for me, but I purchased THC infused e-liquid and the person I got it from told me that you can mix it with regular nic juice to make it taste better. I filled up half of the tank with nic juice and half with THC. This worked fine, but the day after, my mod would not work. It's not dead because the button doesn't light up. Someone told me I need a new tank - is this accurate? What should I do?

Trouble shoot the mod, clean connections, charge battery I find it highly unlikely using diff juice killed your set up
I fouled out coil should still fire just taste nasty it sounds like either battery failure or the mod itself decided to die that or it can't handle what the tank your using demands but it sounds like you've used the tank before

Sounds like maybe some juice leaked into the mod maybe. Like @420democrat said, check the 510 connector for juice leaks. Give it a good clean even if it's dry. Don't forget to wipe down the 510 threads on the tank.

Check the battery as well, make sure nothing leaked into there.

What mod are you using?

I appreciate the help, I'm using a Smok TFV8 Baby Beast. So I cleaned off everything, charged the battery, etc. and it's still not working. Anyone have any additional tips? the o rings seem fine, coil looked okay. Could it be that I'm not connecting something right, like if the coil isnt on tight enough or something is too tight?

Try pressing the fire button (long button down the front of mod) 5 times in quick succession.

Have you plugged the mod into the charger? Does it light up? Have you taken a qtip to the connections on the mod?
Does the mod have removable battery's or built in battery's ? How old is the mod?

Possibly you shorted the coil by having some small leak when you fired into the post, you need to replace that with a spare imo. I have the same tank and have done the same thing.

I wish there was some way to replace the coil without emptying the tank, but I haven't seen any good way to do that? Been digging the .4 ohm coil a little more than the other type though. Just make sure that if you are going to prime the coil, do it before you screw it into the tank, don't squirt juice down onto the cotton from above after screwing it in. Also, when filling, make sure you close the air-flow all the way, fill, close top, and don't open top again or you will release the vacuum and cause leaking.

Smok is behind on that kind of tech
Tanks I've used that you can change coil with juice in are
X baby beast
Veco
