Hi Guys, just ordered the IQ yesterday, was really psyched about it as it's my first vape, couldn't wait to try it out seeing all the good reviews until I came looking up on this forum.
I'm already having doubts on my purchase... I live in the EU, and have read somewhere that someone has had to pay customs even though one already pays said taxes with DaVinci when you purchase the IQ.

Also, I've checked the status of my order and it says "manual verification required". what does that entail, as I haven't received any instructions from DaVinci.

Anyone who has ordered the IQ and lives in the EU, could you tell me how long you had to wait for your IQ to be delivered and if you had to pay customs and/or do this "manual verification"?

"manual verification" is because you ordered internationally and is just a anti fraud measure, you will need to contact them with screenshots of the payment of the payment from your account or bank statement, and the same with the account address matching the delivery address, once they checked this status changed to "Awaiting Shipment"

Cant help on any of your other queries yet as am still waiting on mine here in the EU.

I put my girlfriends address in because I dont trust the retards in Italy to manage the delivery of the unit without having delays or even potentially losing it!

I contacted them with a email titled "Manual Verification Order #XXXXX" sent to customerservice@davincivaporizer.com asking what was required and that was what they asked for, response was in less than 12hrs.

My order was on 11 Nov but was for gunmetal that seems to be the only colour delayed now, so if you are looking to get one quick would avoid that colour for the time being.

Hello! I ordered an IQ through TheVapeLifeStore back on 11/28. I'm wondering if the delivery timetables are different for people who ordered through a third party vendor as opposed to ordering directly through Davinci. I see in this thread that some people who ordered the same color that I did (stealth) through Davinci (days after I had placed my order) have already received their IQs.

Any information would be appreciated! I told VLS I was contemplating canceling my order with them and placing it directly with Davinci if it would ensure that I got my vape by the holidays, but they suggested I "stay in the queue, as they are only going out in small batches."


I'm not familiar with VapeLifeStore, that doesn't mean that they are not an authorized retailer I'm just saying that I'm not familiar with them. Our master distributor for the IQ is VapeWorld so they would be the most reliable source for IQ's besides direct from us here at Davinci. If you ordered that long ago and they still have not gotten you a date I would assume they started a little pre-order of their own until they receive inventory. I would suggest demanding that your order ship immediately or you will cancel and place an order with Us or VapeWorld.

Damnit. Really? Did your order switch from "awaiting shipment" to "shipped" prior to you getting it or was it a surprise?
I ordered 11/7 Gunmetal and have yet to hear or see anything about it.
I have watched this blog like a mofo and was all "don't worry guys it will get there when it gets there" but now I am thinking Fuck this shit. I am going to call and email every day.
I have glass I am waiting on using with this ... I am ready to switch from my Pax and go to the IQ, but this is making things very hard for me.
I have like 10 friends I have recommend the Pax to and they all got them after using mine. They were wanting to jump all over the Pax3, but I told them to wait. About 3 already ordered the Pax3 because of this mess. Now I am getting ready to just keep using my Pax 2 and wait until the next big thing comes out.

Gunmetal was one of our highest ordered colors and also experienced dealys with our pre-order. We have caught up with shipping for all of the remaining IQ colors and re are rounding up the last new of the Gunmetal orders this week. I would imagine your gunmetal order will ship by the 16th date that we had estimated. "Manual Verification" Usually happens for international orders to help prevent against fraud. You will be sent an e-mail from our CS team if you haven't already asking for some additional information to verify your purchase for processing. As for shipping costs and taxes. We take into account taxes and fees in our shipping charge. There have been a few orders that were shipped that did require some additional taxes from incorrect declared values however those fee's were refunded.

after sending an email to cancel the order about a mounth ago
and having had no response from the davinci cs,,,,,
i forgot about cancelling and thought maybe the vape will be super when it finally comes....
then i read here about the custom fees for international customers,
i'm from luxemburg eu, so i was already getting nervous about that...
you know what..
when the iq arrived at my doorstep 10 minutes ago,
i had to pay 81,33 € taxe fees !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i already payed 303,56 € for the iq and the taxe for luxemburg! on davinci site..
that makes a total of 384,83 € !!!!
this is not far from 2 iq's!!!!
now i want a statement and a clear explanation about this,
here,

i want this here in the thread not in a private pm,
i would like that every foraign customer here on the forum knows why you make your customers pay a taxe on your site and then the customer has to pay again for a tax,
this for me looks like taxe fraude!!!

They want me to preorder and Im happy to but not if this is going to take 2 months. A few weeks Im ok with but I would like to hear how certain you are with this company receiving product by end of month. Thanks!

PS I spoke to them today and they still have no idea when they are getting product.

I asked them if they were an authorized dealer before I ordered and they said they were. To confirm that I also asked Davinci through their support if TheVapelifestore was authorized and they replied back that they were. So, seeing as I wasn't in a hurry for it, I decided to save 20% off Davinci direct price and wait. I did order a Pax 2 from them at the same time that I received 3 or 4 days later.

If you already paid the taxes on our website and still had to pay taxes to receive the product then your package was shipped with the incorrect customs documentation that caused this error. If you can provide me with your order number so I can look up your order I can have our CS team resolve this issue for you. Once we confirm that you did pay for the taxes prior to shipment we can refund you the extra 81€ you paid back to your card that you used to place your order with. You can PM me your number or keep it here in this thread. Just make sure not to include your personal information when posting.

We are still expecting to have IQ's available for local Canadian distributors at the end of the month. However as you can imagine shipping and customs can be difficult to predict especially this time of year.

My package still says awaiting shipment, after being told on Monday it would ship out the next day. I've already had one issue that delayed me from receiving my package, that wasn't handled timely. And now it still says awaiting shipment...

I have been waiting five weeks but literally cannot wait anymore as i will be leaving the country next Friday for the holidays and will not be here to accept the package for a month. I have been advised to contact the bank and claim a charge back on my card which they have said they can do if needed, but that don't seem fair on Davinci so would rather cancel properly and leave this as a last resort before i leave so they don't end up shipping something that will be returned at more cost to them.

I think I would have stuck with them as well, but I didn't feel like I was getting answers to my questions in a prompt manner and the answers I did finally get didn't satisfy me. For me it was worth it to spend a little more to hopefully get it sooner, and shift my business away from a company with questionable customer service.

I ordered from them as well. They emailed me last Wednesday and said that it would be soon and that they would have more information tomorrow (Last Thursday).. haven't heard anything back yet.

Thanks for reaching out. Your order is not in Limbo. We received your screenshot of your bank statement on Saturday. We are only getting back into work today on Monday so our CS team will be seeing you update with screenshot and processing your order.

Edit: I order 2 replacement batterie yesterday, i just receive a email that my order is shipped and i got a tracking number. But i d'idnt receive the tracking number for my vaporizer until friday ...

Where did you buy this in Canada? I thought Davinci wasnt sending these to Canada Til months end?

Right on the Davinci website. Delivery to Quebec province but i still don't know where my package is.

Did someone know if i will receive a email when the package will be delivery ?
