Tek The Source Turbo

We purchased The Source Turbo by ExtractCraft yesterday and started making it a little too late today to finish the cooking off of all the alcohol. No problemo. We called this fabulous person today from Extractcraft, with many unfounded concerns. We were met with a friendly and helpful gentleman who answered all of our questions.

We are both newbies when it comes to preparing oil. I (personally) was terrified of making it until I heard about this system and even then I was timid. No need! It's one impressive machine.

My only concern about it, thus far, is the noise that creates while the vacuum is cycling. I live in a condo so I have to be mindful of others. Like good neighbours, we halted the process, with the advice from the company, and put the tincture into the freezer. We can resume the process tomorrow.

fyi:
This machine is quite the invention. Not too big, fits nicely on my counter and goes with the stainless steel look of a modern kitchen and no, I'm not affiliated with the company.

More on this tomorrow. Honestly, it's not at all frightening to operate. No need for any concerns about odour, because there is none and reclaiming the alcohol is easy peasy!

Thanks to Extractcraft whose expertise and patience helped walk us through the process with relative ease.

Seaofgreens: I have read it, it's one of the reasons I purchased it. Customer support is key and I felt confident, having read the companies interaction with us..

I'm fairly new here at this site. Should this note be included over at the other site? I want to give credit where credit is due and I give this machine the thumbs up. I'll be leaving some reviews elsewhere online, but all of them will be positive with a suggestion that the noise be addressed. Read below for more info.

Review:
I am on day 2 of making 1 ounce of flower into RSO (aka FECO). I had to turn it off for sound control in my unit. Interestingly, my partner stood 6 feet away and measured the sound via a decibel meter from the app store (Decibel 10) and it registered at 70 decibels, which is no louder than the inside of a car (if you can imagine that). I just love this machine. If the designer/inventor could think of a way to make it a wee bit quieter, this condo dweller would be forever grateful. Great purchase, even in Canadian dollars. Thanks again.

Ok, now I've managed to save up an additional 12 - 13 grams and I'm in the middle of running this machine again. I cannot tell you the wonder of this invention. It has been decades since I've slept through the night.

My son is 37 years old and his birth ended my relationship with sleep, until now. I am now getting a full nights' sleep. I also had a weird shake in my hands that I attribute to a poisoning. Well, wouldn't you know it, but even that is clearing up too. My hands are steadier and I'm feeling better. My pain level was so good that I was able to report it at 0 out of 10 on Monday of this week, to one of my specialists. I have since had pain, fibro and all my various maladies ensure it, but I am currently finding it manageable.

Since I am not treating cancer, it's more like a maintenance dose and to help my system flush it out of my system. I have been ill with the poisoning for just under a year. Hopefully this feco will knock it out. ;) I still am in awe of this machine.
