Rally Tomorrow (2/16/12) Against Obama's Medical Marijuana Crackdown

I plan on being outside my federal building tomorrow at the appointed time. Looks like there will be simultaneous demonstrations . . . this could be cool!

"Tomorrow, Thursday the 16th medical marijuana activists plan to protest the Obama Administrations attack on medical marijuana states. These rallies are taking place in 9 cities and 6 states. Rallies are also planned to take place at an Obama fundraiser in San Francisco, as well as at the presidents campaign headquarters in Sacramento CA, San Diego CA. Protesters are even going to rally at federal buildings in several cities, including Trenton NJ, Phoenix AZ, Seattle WA, Eugene OR, and Portland ME."

Thanks tree, I appreciate that. I wish I could be at his HQ but oh well . . . this will have to do.

Edit: I hate to admit this but this will be my first protest rally I'm excited!

Sooooo . . . I went out there . . . it was cold and raining. There was only about a dozen people and 1 news crew. I tried to stay out of the camera's way per my spouse's instructions . . . not too bad, will do again.

Further reflection: You know, at least it wasn't a total freak show. Yeah there were some costumes, the mad hatter was there, but most folks there looked like genuine patients. We were definitely a motley crew It was nice to see the veterans out there as well. They have a huge dog in this fight, as I see it, moving forward. The piece on the local news was nice, respectful.
