with the creamy yellow goo it worked great but what i have now is like a solid rock of kryptonite and i can't figure out how to get it onto the hot nail. it just crumbles into very hard little pieces. a dental pick or a flat dabber thing doesn't work.

Heat your dabber up then stick it in the shit

Heat your nail and touch your dabber to it (with nothing on it to dab) and then use the heated dabber tool to pick up some of the crumbles. Or if you have any stickier oil or ever some reclaim, you can coat your tool a bit with that and then all sorts of goodness will stick to it.

You can also put some on parchment paper, fold it, and then apply a small amount of heat until it sort of melts into each other. This will make it easier to work with, but be careful and go low and steady with the heat.
