Multiple Quotes. How to?

Outlaw Farmer

Quick question, after a rule read and a site search I know I shouldn't have so many back-to-back replies. Is it a problem? Or the fact I'm quoting a different circumstance.
IDK.
I can edit things together but I don't want to make work of this.

I'm sure I'll chll out in the next few days so it may be a moot point.
Thanx.

Totally get it. Understood.

I can see everything's code in the "BB code editor mode" also.

Makes total sense.

I can't edit my last post.
I now think I phrased my question wrong, what I think I needed was a "multiple quote" option. Appears there may be that feature under the "more options" button bottom right of reply screen.

Nope- my bad. Code it is!

This software doesn't provide an automatic multiple quote option (not yet anyway). You do have to use the tags manually for that.

I can't edit my last post.
Edit time is 6 hours.

Here's what I do:
If it is 1 post that I am splitting into smaller parts to reply point by point:
It starts off looking like this:
Code:
[quote="Outlaw Farmer, post: 461627, member: 15651"]Got it. I'll learn.

Now, just to retain it[/quote]
Then I just copy/Paste
Code:
[/quote]

[quote="Outlaw Farmer, post: 461627, member: 15651"]

at the end of whatever sentence I want to interject into.

so
Code:
[quote="Outlaw Farmer, post: 461627, member: 15651"]Got it. I'll learn.

Now, just to retain it[/quote]
Got it. I'll learn.

Now, just to retain it

becomes
Code:
[quote="Outlaw Farmer, post: 461627, member: 15651"]Got it. I'll learn.
[/quote]

[quote="Outlaw Farmer, post: 461627, member: 15651"]

Now, just to retain it[/quote]
Got it. I'll learn.

Now, just to retain it

I should note that instead of
Code:
[/quote]

[quote="Outlaw Farmer, post: 461627, member: 15651"]
You could just put
Code:
[/quote]

[quote]
but then you lose the name and post reference.

If you are replying to multiple posts, it's even easier.

Just click the reply button, type your response, then click the reply button on the next post before posting your response.
It'll add the next quote to wherever your cursor is in the text box.

Code:
*Click Reply*

The word 'quote', with brackets around it [ ], starts a quote, and the same, with a forward slash before 'quote', ends it.[/quote]
