[How do I fix a] Broken Volcano Classic?

I have a Christmas woe this year. Someone has stepped on my Volcano Classic and now the heating element is not working. Does anyone have an idea of how to possibly fix my Volcano? I have removed the casing, but I do not know anything about fixing this problem...

they stepped on it..? follow the cord and find where the inside wires are soldered and make sure theirs a good connection.. keep following that path until you find a broken joint.
