Amongst the corn
Just poking around to see what folks out there that vape like to drink, mixed drink wise.. if they imbibe of course.
My most recent, sipping now-
traditional daquiri
2oz light rum- used Mt Gay
1 oz lime juice
1/2 oz heavy simple syrup (2:1 sugar to water instead of 1:1)
Shaken and poured. Nice, may reduce the lime juice to 3/4 oz for the next one. Some limes just have more bite.
This one is a recent fav, try it if you can- it's worth it:
The Vinegar Cocktail:
2 oz gin- I used Junipero
1 oz juice or strong tea- strong ceylon for me
2 tsp thick sweetener, such as honey, molasses, or maple syrup- used Manuka honey (has a mineral bite, nice for drinks & marinades)
1 tsp vinegar, such as sherry, apple cider, balsamic- used run of the mill balsamic
In a cocktail shaker, stir the last three ingredients to combine. Add gin and plenty of ice. Shake and strain into a chilled glass.
Oh, seriously good.
