Phew, 9.5 is pretty high indeed @Helios!
How does your AVB look? Mine gets dark/black almost if I set it at 7 and up. Maybe I draw too hard or pack too much?
I do use a stepdown converter, so maybe that affects the actual heat

@CarolKing it's finally getting colder here too, every day I appreciate the nano more, heats up cold hands in addition to all it's other great qualities!

If i go above a 6 my stuff burns xD. I'm not sure why but I have a real small temp range. I only stay between 5 and 6, with water 6.5 is the highest.
That's about the same for me here, so your all good. Past 6.437 and I'm in char city.
I'm copying @CarolKing loading up some Blue Dream into the Nano whilst trying on my new Creamsicle colored footed onesie. Gonna be a good Halloween.

6.0 - 6.5 is my sweet spot while using the normal stem and I sometimes go up to 7 (Yay!) if using a water tool. Works well for me! :-)

I once stumbled across those values, maybe @nadia_epic or @ACE OF VAPE are able to confirm:

5: 150-160°C (302-320°F)
5.5: 165-175°C (329-347°F)
6: 180-190°C (356-374°F)
6.5: 195-205°C (383-401°F)
7: 210-220°C (410-428°F)
7.5: 225-235°C (437-455°F)
8: 240-250°C (464-482°F)

It's probably not the same for every device, but maybe one can use it as a guideline?

I pushed the screen in my gong down till it is even with the top of the silicone grip when it is pushed down all the way.
I turned up the temp .25 and it has been a improvement big time........anyone else try that?

Same setting here AND I LOVE IT! ;-)

Looks like dark ground coffee, no black. still recovering today:zzz: friends, Nano, some ARgentine Red, long night!
like @Dynavaper said, between 6/7 is the spot. I use water path 99% of the time much smoother for the throat.

@ataxian Humbolt Kush is so nice! very rare in da Cold North East.

@Baron23 i use the NANO at 6.15463275 and I’m over MEDICATED.
Don’t tell!

AFHANI CHEESE so tasty in a NANO GonG with a water path mouth small.

Level:9.1564875 out of 10?
Help MR. Wizard!!!!
Hello my friend...I generally run my Nano at 6.5...BUT as we both know, each units analog rheostat may be slightly different and also be influenced by the quality of your electrical mains power.

I'm interested in the e-Nano but I'm concerned about porous ceramics releasing particulates at vaping temperatures. Anyone know if the ceramic heating element of the e-Nano is vitrified? Also what is in its airpath?

I took mine apart the day I got it.
I have zero issues regards using my Nanos all day long.
A question regarding safety issues was asked by a customer and I see the maker ignore the question.....for quite some time now.

In all fairness, he didn't ask the maker. He just posted in a forum. I knocked on Epic's door for him 1 post up. I'm sure they will notice, now. Epic is usually pretty darn good with their customer service but many of the manufacturer's don't always have time to read all the forums.

I usually either @nadia_epic or go to the official web site and use the 'Contact us" option.

Just a dude
There’s a search feature for people to use, if they’ve got specific concerns, and her/his seems specific. I know that it’s been discussed but don’t have the energy to do their research. Ime, posts like that are a fucking tar baby that put us in a position of trying to “sell” or give some sort of reassurance for their concerns, for someone who’s merely interested. It’s not this thread’s purpose to be a sales shop, FFS.

Log vaporizers are based on some of the oldest vape tech around, the Enano has been manufactured since 2012. The answers to @fijk worries are in the thread if they’re truly bothered enough to put forth more effort than to ask others to do it for them and convince them, in their second post. What’s in the airpath?! It’s in this thread, it’s on their website, it’s what makes me think this person wants to be served.

We’re not meant to go into material safety issues in a specific product thread, because it’s a great way to derail the thread and make it suck as we all jump into the rabbit hole together. We’re starting to do it now!
:bang: Not to mention that it’s probably been done before, especially in a thread with 862 pages.

EDIT: Exactly @Hackerman a manufacturers interaction here on this forum doesn’t mean that they’re obligated to use it as a help desk or sales counter. It sure as hell shouldn’t be a measure of the customer service or after sales care. I can guarantee you that EpicVape is busy right now, they’re all working long days trying to keep up, so maybe cut Nadia some slack if she’s not right there when we think she should be. It’s not like FC is an everyday top priority for her, she’s busy.
