California High Court Ruling: DEA Breaking The Law By Raiding Legal Dispensaries

This may well be a very important ruling. It has mostly gone under the national radar, but the Justice Dept has continued to raid and physically bust up dispensaries in a manner which is highly incompatible with the usual behavior of authorities in a democratic society, threaten them, intimidate their landlords, seize and keep their assets etc.

The headline is incorrect. The California high court would mean the CA Supreme Court. This was a federal district court in California.

All this could be over shortly if they wanted it to be but they don't. Too much power and too much money on the table so this game is going to go down to the last hand. While I applaud the state challenge its still the state government versus the federal government and we know how that usually goes.

It's not a state challenge. The decision came from a federal judge.

Ultimately it's going to be the federal government vs. big business. And we know who really runs this country.
