Bad news for cannabis clubs in Spain

Hi everyone.
Cannabis clubs have never had it easy in Spain. However, they have been able to operate in a gray area for last years, with the number of clubs growing quickly.
There had even been some positive court sentences and some cities have issued local regulations stating how clubs should procede.

Things have changed for bad. Last week the supreme court pronounced a sentece that makes that gray area quite black. The sentence is still under analysis to determine its reach accurately, but a number of clubs have already ceased activity, as penal perspective for club managers has worsened considerably. Others still operate without much worries.

Bad news indeed.
After sampling Amsterdam coffeeshops in 2014, had hoped to experience Spanish cannabis clubs in the near future :(

Interpretations are different for each person and why we need regulation.
The club that just fooked things was producing 10 tonnes pa and apparaently supplying 'dealers'. There are still safe ways to operate but Spain never did want to become a giant Amsterdam and there are enough guidelines yo do things properly which might actually show that regulation will work well, indeed, that the entire non profit model could work well and set an example to the world
