this is the first time cleaning my rig, after iv soaked it for a good 4 min inside a ziploc..how long do i rinse it out with water to get the rubbing alcohol out of it......also we took the reclaim, that was just pretty much liquidy after being poured out with the iso and poured it into a pyrex that was then placed in a pan with boiling water so the iso would evaporate....after waiting like 2 and half hours it looked like all the iso pretty much evaporated, cause it wasnt bubbling that much.. so we took it up and started dabbing the reclaim & it gave me a weird high..anways the reason for the second part is can the reclaim that was purged with iso do something to the nail to the point where everytime i dab wax im gonna get some of the rubbing alcohol that may be on the nail from the reclaim?

Id just shake the iso out of your piece and let the rest evap. It'll dry faster than water, so rinsing it out would actually take longer IMO.

As for your reclaim, just lay it out in a thin layer on pyrex (the thinner the better) and put it in the toaster over (or electric oven if you have one of those... just don't do it with gas stoves because alcohol vapor will catch fire) @ 180*F. Iso boils @ 179.xx*F so, that will ensure the purge works properly.

Also, I've never had iso reclaim that WASNT liquidy/runny.

My Iso reclaim turned out like purchased "honey oil".

Just let it evap off until it is dry & clear.

thanks for the response...as for the reclaim,do u think the iso residue of the reclaim will effect future dabs on the nail, effect it like weird highs?....and one more question would the reclaim that was purged in 91 iso make reclaim in the rig have any reminents of the iso?

"91% iso" means that 91% is isopropyl rubbing alcohol and 9% water. The iso will completely evaporate, as will the water. But as I said water evaporates much slower than alcohol.

That being said, I use 99% iso because it evaporates faster and cleans pieces quicker. Of course it doesn't work better, just faster than 91%'

And no, the alcohol will evaporate off eventually and shouldn't be there in detectable levels as long as you let the reclaim sit to evaporate long enough.

If anything, it'll simply reduce the flavor. Anyway, if your worried you can always check to see if your meds taste sweet when you vape. Iso tastes very sweet and its really easy to tell if it's present.
