That exactly what i thought but the big buddy tended to be a bit too powerfull and resulted in a very roasty tasting session in my experience. The ronx was really good and i thought it was perfect untill i used a triple flame and now i cant go back to using the bigger torches anymore.

I have the blazer big buddy and the ronx dual flame kitchen torch. Both of them work fine but a triple flame seems to work better. The cyclone triple flame torch is what i use.

You'll love it mate. Get triple flame torch for it if you haven't already thats what i get the best results with.

Yeah i agree. It was you who helped me get the perfect draw on the tempest, we spoke breifly in the tempest thread. The tempest beats the fusion as far dtl hits go but i much preffer mtl hits so the fusion wins on that front.

As each day passes i get more and more annoyed at the tempest. I couldn't in good consciousness recomend the tempest over the fusion 2.0 to anyone. Even if you already own a wand the fusion 2.0 and flare combo will be a much better set up and that's not just because it's cheaper, the fusion 2.0...

I learned years ago that clicking caps shouldnt be going anywhere near alcohol. Not just because it can damage the clicker but also because isopropyl isn't safe for consumption and there is no way of knowing what kind of residual oils it may leave behind once the alcohol has evaporated.

Yeah m8 unluck man. I've sure ive seen a comment from a user saying the same thing happened to them and they left it out overnight and it started working again the next day. Maybe give that a try before ordering a new cap but if you do get a new cap it honestly never ever needs cleaned.

I've seen folk saying this happened to them aswell but im no sure if there is a fix. If you get a new cap for it do not clean it in alcohol it doesn't need it and the alcohol can damage the clicker. BFG recomend covering the hole on the cap with waterproof tape but i'd recomend no cleaning the...

Not tamping seems to give me a pretty even roast

Folk should try not tamping their load down at all. I've been doing this the past 2 nights and it's defo my preferred way to vape with the tempest now. I don't tamp the load i just brush any loose bits off the side with my finger. Been getting massive rips and able to kill the bowl quicker.

I took your advice and slowed my draw down and i'm now getting much better heat retention. Thanks

Pretty dissapointed with the heat retention on my device. I've got around 43 3mm zirconia balls in mine and the heat retention isn't impressing me. I heat with both the wand and a torch. Does anyone know if the 2.5 mm zirconia balls retain heat a bit longer?

How often are folk having to clean their devices? I'm running the helix tube in mines with airport closed and airflow wide open on the tip and i'm finding i have to give it a clean every morning. I do between 6-10 bowls a day. I've also started to give the tip a deep clean every 2 weeks...

Getting consistent 1 heat extraction with a triple flame torch. I'm heating a bit closer to the bowl than suggested in the manual and i'm getting really good hybrid hits. I'm able to clear the bowl in 2 hits. Starting to like using a torch more than the wand.

Is the therman accumulator a heavier beast than the tempest? I'm kinda dissapoounted with the heat retention in the tempest to be honest.

I noticed the same thing last night with the wooden sleeve. At first i didnt mind it as much but just like yourself the more i'm using it the more irritation im feeling in my throat. I don't have this issue at all with the titanium sleeve.
