I heard the same thing regarding the issue I posted about a few pages back - clicker unit died and he said they probably won't have the parts to fix it for at least three months. Wouldn't mind a reti bubbler at all, seems like snagging a Mobius piece from ALT is akin to playing the lottery, but I do try to check in there at least once a day. I'll just keep scouring the various sources online and hope for the best, that's about all I can do. :D

You guys are making me drool with all your nice glass. I've been on the lookout for basically any Mobius piece over the past couple of weeks, preferably a Matrix bubbler of some kind, without much luck. Anyone have any advice on the best place to look for one? Unfortunately none of the shops...

It's a fun piece to use, I got it at my local glass shop a few months ago while they were having a 50% off sale, so it was actually pretty reasonably priced. While I don't prefer the glycerine tube to a nice perc, it is a fun change of pace that actually does a really good job of cooling down...

Also, the Cloud decreases in temperature as you move down the unit, closer to the base / air intake area. I had my unit on for ~40 minutes or so in the 12 o'clock position and even though the top of the unit near the glass joint was quite warm / almost hot, I was still able to comfortably hold...

I can definitely see where you're coming from on the heat thing, mine gets a little bit toasty as well. Nothing that isn't manageable, but like you said perhaps a little warmer than I was expecting. Still completely floored by the unit though and am consistently impressed by how effective it is. :)
