At least on my MFLB, the very finely ground up pieces can get stuck in between the o-ring.. So I would assume that's what they were talking about.

Would it be worth buying 2700s today if I would not be getting a newer charger until a week from now (closer to next paycheck)? I know I've read that you can use the included battery charger, but I do not want to ruin the batteries.
