    Aromazap/Myrtlezap/CeramicRockZap

Just got my new glass stem in and I must say I LOVE IT!!! Makes a great product even more awesome. Rick mentioned it was a little longer than they like but I must say it is just perfect. Money very very well spent. Also just want to thank Rick for the excellent customer service. Helped me out...

    Aromazap/Myrtlezap/CeramicRockZap

Best advice I can give you is what Rick told me and that is to loosen your lip lock lol. Put your lips up to it gently and don't try to suck like a golf ball through a hose lol. Even leave your lips just slightly parted to get a bit of airflow so it doesnt feel like your suffocating. Worked for...

I think the blue container you are refering to is the vial of essential oils it comes with.

My new Iolite is not doing what I want, choosing another.. Advice

Except for your portability really one of the PD or MZ style vapes fit your bill. They can be left on so no warm up time. The bowl is really small allowing you to fine tune dosage. You can easily get an adapter that will work internationally. They never scorch anything. Unfortunately they aren't...

    What's on your menu?

I'm so jeleous I had to stop reading this thread. If you guys saw the crap I'm stuck with you'd run me off the forum. On the plus side its cheap and vaping makes it alot better. Sigh one day things will change and we can all partake of the finer strains. Thanks for the bud porn. Great thread.

    Increased pain when vaping?

Hmm by chance do they sell clones? I've not familiar with the whole dispensary thing as I'm in a state with draconian laws. I thought I read in the past people buying clones but maybe thats just a Cali thing. Might be worth checking into though. Besides if your a first timer its gonna be easier...

    Increased pain when vaping?

I concur try a different strain and vape at a higher temp. Also not all indica's are equal. In reality most of what you are getting is a hybrid of some sort and everyone reacts differently. I try to avoid the strong sativa's because of anxiety issues but have had some indica's that are just as...

    Aromazap/Myrtlezap/CeramicRockZap

Good point stick I was referring to the actual air temp. My observation is far from scientific as I havent taken any actual temp reading. I just made the observation because if I pop the stem into the PD after finishing it up in the MZ I get another small hit. Wonder if it could be slight...

from what I gather the little dowel thing will come in real handy when its time to change screens. Nice piece you got there.

Yeah your still gonna have to cool the vapor. The difference is very small. Like I said just a few degrees probably. I can get a smallish extra hit from the PD after running through the MZ. So small indeed I usually don't bother. It will be reclaimed by cooking at a later time. I usually use the...

    Aromazap/Myrtlezap/CeramicRockZap

Wow I'm disappointed in the direction this thread went but to get back on track I wanted to correct this statement as my observations are taken a little out of context. I never said the MZ doesnt retain heat as well as the PD. What I had stated was that it runs a few degrees cooler than the PD...

    Iolite vaporiser

Mouth bong it up my friend. Get a nice cold drink and take a sip then gently bubble your vapor through it. Sounds complicated but it isn't, took a try or two to get it right but it totally eliminates any harshness related to the heat. I do this every chance I get with both the IO and the PD or MZ.

    Iolite vaporiser

I wouldnt advise it. I don't want to drudge up the whole issue again but they have admitted that the unit releases some amount of carbon monoxide. How much we don't know. The intake is seperate from the exhaust so the argument is that the CO is diffused into the ambient air before it has a...

    Iolite vaporiser

lwien I find to get a satisfactory hit I use about 3 PD stems worth which is roughly 3/4 of the bowl maybe a little less. But I can get two sessions out of that. I usually fire it up and start htting after the first cycle. Once I start getting pretty thick hits I turn it off and it continues to...

    Aromazap/Myrtlezap/CeramicRockZap

Heck I'll gladly give another endorsement I always call em like I see em. I actually find myself using my MZ more than the PD now for one main reason and that is the screen in the heat tube. For whatever reason Tom said it can't be done and that makes it a pain when stuff falls in and tastes...

A Piece of Art: Just got my new Myrtlezap(lots of pictures included)!

Ah okay thanks for the tip. I kind of had a feeling it was just a technique thing. I'll give that a shot. Thanks Rick. Edit *** Wow thats definitely the ticket. Okay for the PD I like the sipping technique for the MZ its more like hitting a joint just lightly holding your lips around the stem...

I can only tell you moving the same stem from one unit to the other the PD has more airflow. Perhaps bigger intake holes then or perhaps because of the larger heat tube? Inadvertant or not more air is getting in through the PD stem one way or another. My lungs don't lie :) It's a good thing though.

You likely have air built up. Before filling use the smaller end of the center pin removal tool to push down the nozzle where you fill it. Should hear the air bleeding out then give it a fresh fill and see if it fills all the way. I get about 3 uses before having to refill.

A Piece of Art: Just got my new Myrtlezap(lots of pictures included)!

I now own both the PD and the Myrtlezap. Let me say comparing which is better is like apples and oranges. Both get the job done though each has its strengths as far as preferences. I've been wanting another PD for a while but haven't been able to get my hands on one so thought I'd give the...
