I finally received my splinter Z, am a bit confused about the solder in the middle of the screen and the fine regular scratches on the top half of the wood (hard to photograph). is this normal?

after i saw this pictures I snatched the same paranormal 250c used for 70 bucks with extra wood panels, beautiful!

another question I did not find a definite answer for: when using FC share / evic, can the box mod still be used for "normal" liquid tanks (at least in wattage mode if not TC)?

after reading this thread im still confused what the "best" mod for a splinter Z would be. from my understanding its one with a DNA(250c) chip and FCshare firmware(?) and Franks theme on it, even though there is no cruise control available, as opposed to devices compatible with the Xevic...

100% agreed, a reassuring idiots guide would solve many repetative questions, even if the questions are answered in the thread or some other posts, its hard for a newb to identify the correct answeres already given, specially if not sure what to look for. the patience and help is very...

this might be a stupid question but here it goes: since i read the standard size mouthpieces are 3mm too long for the new Splinter (also Z i guess) which need 19/19... wouldnt it be possible to simply cut or grind off 3mm of the glass? I thought the size refers to the top of the connection.

does this profile work with other DNA250 mods (Hcigar VT250S to be specific) or do i miss out on features/experience compared to a Reuleaux? I might be confusing it with this myevic, i also read about Frost Wolf or something like that, have to do more research tomorrow.

hello, im fairly new to the subject and some hours of research in (maybe not the most efficient today) but still have so many questions... from what i read i want a Splinter Z with XL8R stem and im looking for the ideal mod box for it, its still not completely clear to me what the best option...
