maybe try some silicone tape? they have it in a variety of colors for a little diy grip.

i believe when using these bulbs in vapes like this one or the highlighter desktop vape the ink marking on the bulb would be removed with iso to avoid having it in the airpath to burn off over time.

probably from the fall, the contact inside the unit got squashed a bit from the weight of the battery and the impact, with a hook tool you can carefully lift it up a little. if you dont have a hook or pick tool a piece of coat hanger can be bent into one.
