This is my experience as well. Portables generally don't give as much body/couchlock effect as a desktop. The effects from portables tends to give very "heady" effects with little else.

I believe most are fake. I think the best way to go about it is to buy shatter/wax and then make your own. Can't be sure the shatter is perfect quality but at least it's probably safer than black market distillate.

I hope that if they do release a new portable it doesn't look like an alien egg and is made out of something more durable. Being able to actually fit it in a pocket would be nice as well.

Had a great evening in with the Vrod and a bit of sativa yesterday. Think I've nailed my comfort zone at around 662F, for this strain. Get a nice balanced extraction while maintaining great flavour. Such an efficient machine.

I really like this device. I don't even bother temp stepping now, straight to 220C with dosing cap and dry glass. 420 seconds on the timer. Job done. 1 cap = 1 wrecked boy. It's amazing the amount of vapour produced even after 300 seconds at max temp. Lovely even brown avb as well.

How does the vrod compare to the herborizer digi and the ditanium? I'd like to get an "end game" desktop at some point and am leaning towards one of these three.

After some frequent "research" over the past few weeks I've come to the conclusion that this thing gets me higher than my vapcaps. Running at 205-220 C with dosing cap and glass. Even works well for microdosing, just half a cap with a coarse grind gets me pretty baked!

I'm running this set up with bent glass and dosing caps at 210 - 220 C on a 5 minute session. Flavour is really great even at that temp and wow does it rip! So powerful!

The bent glass combined with the dosing caps got me as wrecked as I've ever been today. I did a daytime wake and vape to go watch some football and I was destroyed for a solid 2 hours. After about 3 hours I was feeling really good baked but before that I was near passing out and laughing...

Just got mine back this morning. Had to pay the tax on it again unfortunately but worth it. The flavour on the stock mouthpiece seems a little better now. I'll be using the glass adapters most of the time but it's good that the stock piece is better. I'll use this option when i travel...
