    Homemade Vaporizers

Final mods are complete and she is a winner. Inline power/temp switch installed, fresh air holes drilled and 90 degree elbow so no kinking of the tube. I have a mark for 400 degrees at the bottom of the bowl. Proto #1 is complete.... for now.

Vaporization temperature dependent selection of effects

I don't have any photos during construction, but I will be making a vape out of a cool piece of burl wood for my father. When I make that one, shortly, I will take more photos. I will post them in the homemade vaporizer thread. http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=121 patrick

    Homemade Vaporizers

My heat source is a Hakko dash which has a 25W ceramic heating element. I spliced in an old school on/off switch into the cord, mounted the dash into the mug and Bob's your uncle. A good, solid vape is not that hard to make and it is fun to make your own. Simple, completely effective and it...

    Homemade Vaporizers

ThouShaltVape, Funny running into you here. I made a slight adjustment to the mug and wow, does it hit hard. Way bigger hits than when you where here, but I think we where adequately sedated. My finances might allow me to wander to the other side of town. Say hello to the better...

    Any Portland people here?

I feel like a fool, but I am not sure how to PM on this forum. It seems as though I need a third party provider for PM'ing? A first for me and forums. Patrick

Removing Metal Shell from Digital Volcano!

A torx bit will open it up. You can find one at a local hardware store or get in touch with S&B, as I have heard they have sent this tool to customers upon request. Patrick Just noticed you asked about the digital. I'm not 100% sure about the above for the digital, as I have not seen one in...

    Homemade Vaporizers

Here is my homemade vape. All of my friends love it and my father wants me to make him one. An elbow will be put on top of the bowl shortly. I didn't want to mess with the lines, so I didn't put in a potentiometer. I was a beautiful cocobolo mug with some heart wood in it when I found it at...

Vaporization temperature dependent selection of effects

I read this thread yesterday and decided to do a little experiment myself. I used my Iolite during the day, set temp, 375F I believe, and experienced the wonders (energy, clear head, body high) of the vapors up to that temp. Before bed, I put the Iolite AVB in my DIY vape, (I will be...

    Which vape would you suggest?

My buddy has a MFLB and loves it. I didn't want to pay the high prices for a quality vape, so I made my own. But if a Buddha hit the market for under a bill, I would get that, save the $50 and build it up to get a MFLB. Patrick

    Iolite vaporiser

I have had an Iolite for a little over a week, and so far, for what it is, its great. I actually really like the temp setting, it helps with consistency for using AVB, but one or two other temps would be nice. The iolite gives me a very clean high, more body, and usually energy. Gotta love...
