It simply annoys me bc it's freaking loud and long while useless. It's an aggresive neverending vibration if you ask me, and you can imagine that's not what you seek for when you're "wielding" your vape ;) Maybe one or two short beeps wouldn't be that bad, but it's what, 3 seconds straight...

Thanks, that was fast :) I haven't disassembled it yet, but was looking at that same PIA's tear down for a reference. Yes, they claim those wires to lead to sort of a bios battery, but they are corrected in the comments. By looking at the tear down, the 3rd pic from the top shows the vape open...

Hi, sorry for quoting so old, but this is the only post I found talking about the vibration, which for me is quite an annoyance. It seems to bother people a lot less than what I'd have thought hehe. I mean, the cfx heats up so fast, that I don't see a reason to have such a strong, long buzz...
