'The Misty Log' - DIY wooden Log Vaporizer

Companion piece to the lean,13mm plain end glass core Padauk from two weeks ago, or so. Big thx again @brainiac for the awesome πŸͺ΅ work πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ Features a female 18mm ground glass socket for a heater cover. Leather cap needs still some sanding and maybe I'll reduce the air intake a wee bit.

Most 'convenient' vape for smoker looking to turn to vaping

I'd go for a Log Vape (Underdog, HeatIsland, Woodscents etc.) πŸͺ΅ πŸ’ͺπŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨ for home use and a small butane vape, like a Vapcap or s/thing similar for on the way. With a Woodscents, you already get both in one package. Solid, durable, simple to use & clean... while also looking really classy all πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘...

Nickel and the safety of the Lotus

Yep. Just used the 'search forums' tab and searched for the keywords 'lotus' and 'nickel' in all threads. It came up with only 7 pages of results and so I went for the earliest ones from the Lotus thread. Lotus also had the lab protocols listed on their original website's FAQ section but sadly...

The holes are usually done last, with a Forstner bit either set into the tailstock of the lathe, or with a drill press. Hole for the connector is threaded and the crown of the connector is a bit milled down, to be able to recess it. The base plug also sits in a recess. The base gets usually...

    The GTR

The glass core GTR wouldn't even work, if you place it flat on the table, as it has its air intake holes situated in the bottom cap, which would get blocked then.

'The Misty Log' - DIY wooden Log Vaporizer

If heater port and bowl are designed to fit each other (which they usually are with Log Vapes), there is no need to hold the Log with your hand, when you use it inverted on a bubbler  It's just that most users like to spin the Log a bit on the bowl to get a more even heat distribution.
