    Brilliant Cut Grinder

After injuring my tendons multiple times on a overfilled Quick Grinder V3, I finally decided to pull the trigger on BCG back in September. And the fact that $10 Air mail shipping was an option, did help to make the decision.. After a bunch of research, I settled on the Medium Hematite...

    VapoShop - Europe's #1 Vaporizer Store

Oh Wow! This definitely just made my day; as the savings will make up for having to get the ELB separately. I'm sold! (and feeling a lot better now!).

    VapoShop - Europe's #1 Vaporizer Store

Yeah... about waiting.. Last week, I was really stoked to finally find a European store that carries both the Boundless CFX and the Must Have "VapeXhale EZ Load bowls"-addons, both In Stock at the time... Unfortunately, me finding this thread and it being so close to 4.20; I decided to wait...

    Multi-brand Vivant Alternate

With just Crafty fine screen on I ended up just cutting the 16mm screens to friction fit perfectly on top of the Crafty screen. This is my new favorite now! :) Double-screened, perfectly flush. It is very easy to clean now

Just a little update. The V2 topcap on my Alternate did end up developing two cracks after 2½ weeks of use: Cleaning becomes very dangerous when it's cracked like this. Otherwise it's still performing fine.. heaven_gifts said he would provide a free replacement after confirming with pictures...

I pack my bowls with .14g of material (RH50% bud via Vivanti grinder) and I've ended up with something quite similar: 1 min on 185C (365F) 1 min on 195C (383F) 1-2 min on 200C (392F) After that I consider the bowl finished and dump it in my AVB jar.

    Multi-brand Vivant Alternate

Alternate is a dynamic load in the 0-20A range and you want a battery that can maintain the highest voltage over that range. All of the batteries listed are compatible with the discharge profile that Alternate is using (which is based on VTC4 characteristics) 30Q clearly does a better job at...

    Multi-brand Vivant Alternate

    With current Alternate 1.03V firmware I would rank battery performance as follows: Sony VTC6 > Samsung 30Q > LG HG2 > Sony VTC5 > Sanyo NCR18650GA > LG HE2 > Sony VTC4 > Samsung 35E > Samsung HE4 > Samsung 25R > Panasonic NCR18650PF The last two batteries seem like rather sub-optimal choices...

after receiving my unit from dhgate.. after airing out my unit.. Alternate has now been my daily driver for two weeks and I'm thoroughly impressed with the performance and design of this device. This vape extracts so much better than my previous MFLB-style vape and the taste is Next Level™. I...

    Multi-brand Vivant Alternate

I just received my Alternate yesterday via dhgate heaven_gifts. Ordered on 2017-06-01, it was mailed on 2017-06-10 and received in EU 18 days later. It came with the V2 topcap. I had to air out the base unit a long time (a batteries worth at least) before the plastic taste was down to a level...

    Multi-brand Vivant Alternate

Thank you for clearing that up! So the current/power range for this device is gonna be between 6-8A and 20-30W. Therefor I'll be basing my battery comparisons on the 7A CC Discharge Characteristics. Well let's look at some curves...

    Multi-brand Vivant Alternate

Ok, let's put it this way: how much current(amps) does alternate pull from a fresh/fully charged Sony VTC4 during heat-up? The actual current draw from the battery is what I'm interested in knowing, so I can go by the correct discharge curve when selecting new batteries.

What is the resistance(ohms) of the heating element used? And what is the maximum power rating(watts) of it?

But someone on this thread did claim to be using Panasonic NCR18650B's successfully; and they are only 7A max. rated.

Has anyone tried this vape with the Sanyo/Panasonic NCR18650GA 3500mAh cells? They might offer a little more use time compared to LG HG2's, depending on the current draw. I don't suppose anyone has measured the current draw from the battery during operation?
