Alrighty. The tip and condenser are separate pieces, they don't jam together, so start by separating them. One of the X rings should be slightly bigger than the other one. Put the smaller one on the notch at the end of the condenser tube, slide your mouthpiece on behind it and then fit the...

I should mention my omni XL isn't a full Ti piece. I just added a custom XL condenser to a burl stem and V4 tip :) tis a very sexy piece indeed! I was really tempted to get a carbon stem, but didn't bother as I don't think it could match the burl in looks. I like to do one or two low temp...

I'll be honest, I don't think the Ti omni is that comfortable to spin either. The mouthpiece glides quite nicely, but I find the short length and slightly slimmer profile of the Ti body makes things more awkward. I adore my omni XL, the extra 17mm means I can easily support the back end with my...

I've never had black gunk from a new vapcap, just some small oil residue and a couple of small burrs (this is based on my experience with 1x gen 2 Ti, 3x gen 4 Ti, and 3x vapcap M). I wouldn't say it's impossible though, I remember plenty of black gunk in early Chinese clone RDAs 3-4 years ago...

Machining oil residue. I'd iso wash anything that came from a machine shop, I vaped e liquid before I started vaping herb and it was always sensible practice to give atties a wash before use. I guess you could argue that they could do a better cleanup job, but tbh at the end of the day we...

Hmm. I disagree. The vapcap can function as an excellent low temp piece, it just needs a change in technique. It can also produce serious lungfulls of thick vapour too, again, dependant on technique. The flame configuration of your torch makes a big difference to the way it behaves too...

The other thing you can do is push the condenser further into the body, essentially Having the same effect as the omni condenser. In fact, this should work with Ti models without mouthpieces too

This is really odd... The draw resistance on my unmodified M is really not that insanely tight. It's about the same (maybe a little looser) as my gen 2 Ti tip, which I found to be a little bit more free-flowing than my OG. I've also increased the airflow a little on my M by grinding grooves into...

In my defence, the photos were just links when I replied, I couldn't have really done a side by side comparison haha

Yeah, I figured it would be doable in it's current state, and obviously a more versatile setup. I just like the idea of a nice, compact, solid base unit to act as a dedicated vapour bong. It could even run using vapexhale baskets. I dunno, obviously it's a more niche idea with much less...

LG HG2 are solid batteries, probably adequate for this application. Samsung 25r are 500mah smaller capacity, but 5A higher discharge rating. But I'd have thought the 20A HG2 would be fine. First post in this thread! I have to say, this is a really interesting project. One idea that had been...

I can't really see what you're on about from the pictures, you seen to have done the same photo twice. Are you maybe talking about a few small burrs coming loose? I always give my vapcaps (and any other machined vape gear) an iso bath on arrival, followed by an inspection and tidy up with a...

Take a small diamond file, and cut notches in the cap at the ends of the air channels (similar to the Ti tips). This will improve the airflow with the carb closed :)

My nonavong sits very low in one of my 14mm pieces, just about makes a seal. Another one it doesn't seal at all (although this is an unusually wide tapered joint). However I've found it makes a perfect airtight seal with my 18-14 adapter, so I'm set for all 18mm pieces. As far as max vapor...

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, I just can't quite get my head around what's going wrong. It's either got to be down to technique or maybe a faulty cap. Whereabouts on the cap are you heating with your single torch? Heating right at the base of the cap with the flame forming a right angle...

Sounds like you're doing something wrong mate. I combusted a handful of times when I first got my OG and was learning the ropes, my first Ti (second generation tip) also got combusted in a few times (every occasion was down to reheating before the cooldown click) I've had 4th Gen Ti tipped...
