I noticed that Rick's preceding post referenced that he rotates his stem while vaping and he's getting improved more uniform vapor. I've been using this very same technique for some time now and agree it improves the the vapor density as well as the number of good hits it provides. Not...

Thanks Rick and Agony. Even I can understand that and it all sounds good. Sometimes both of my Zaps Brass and CRZ will run a bit cooler when the ambient temps cool down below 70F. to maybe 60 F., and this would enable positive heat compensation for the cool ambients. This is great!!

Then are you saying that it's a variable supply allowing adjustment from low heat to high heat? From what you say it could be adjusted too high producing damaging heat. Could I also use it for my brass MyrtleZap?

Good morning all. Ive just read about the VV power supply and My take is that it's a variable voltage supply to enable adjustment of the CRZ's heat output. It can also be used for a CRZ with no problems. Am I correct or mistaken?

Thanks Rick. I'll get some Super Glue and use an insulin syringe to inject it down into each crack. That should hold it all together. I'll keep an eye on it. Other than the cracking it works great, definitely running hotter than my brass Myrtle and the heat recovery time is practically nothing...

The last pics were a bit small so I'm posting a bit larger to see the cracking better. The crack goes all the way around.

My new Rock Zap-Out On A Limb has developed some cracking at the bark to wood interface completely around the circumference. There's also a vertical crack running from the bottom of the bark up to the wood portion, then it continues around the circumference to one degree or another. I noticed...

Thanks Mom, I thought it was. For me that makes it even better. You've become quite the encyclopedia on Zaps.

Thanks Mom, I wonder if Louie is an RZ-1 or a CRZ. Maybe you can shed some light on that or maybe Rick can, I however think Louie is a CRZ. I'm hoping that Louie and Lucille will mate then I'll a baby Zap for free. The wolf on the box was wood burned in then painted. It may the only one...

I just received my Out On A Limb Zap from Blissville. Its much nicer than what the site pics showed it to be. It's just a bit shorter than my brass Myrtlezap and it's bottom base is larger and significantly heavier which just helps it stay put and not so prone to toppling over. A label on the...

Thanks everyone for your comments on my Zap accessories storage box. This was all hand carved in Kassel Germany. I have some other boxes for vape items storage that are unique in themselves as well as being one of a kind. I think that I'll be getting my Out On a Limb from Blissville today. My...

Thanks MOM. I used Photobucket to post these pics, but they did not post using the larger size. How should I post using Photobucket to get the larger size?

I got this beautiful storage box in Germany with which to store my Zap accessories in, just thought I'd post a few pics. Ive also ordered the Out On A Limb Zap featured on the Blissville site and should have it by Saturday. I also bought a Bocote stem from Ed to go along with my new zap.

Thanks Rick, I'll go to Blissville and get the one shown. It appears like it's a good one with some definite style.

Thanks MOM and I'm glad to be remembered. I'll contact Rick directly and see if he may make at least one more of those out on a limb series. If not I'll order the one I saw on the Blissville site it's very nice. Thanks again, it's really good to be back!! :D

Hi All, Ive been gone for awhile doing some consulting work in Europe. I don't know if anyone even remembers me. There are so many new Zapers on the forum and I can see why. Rick has outdone himself with his new designs, wood choices heat exchanger improvements, finishes etc, etc. I am very very...

Ive also found that a mixed application of the Zap Polish and Ed's TnT "Bomb Ass Butter" works well lasting a bit longer than either one alone. I usually apply the Zap Polish followed by an application of the Bomb Ass Butter. I again perform an over application of both resulting in a high gloss...

At first I polished my Zap about every other day using just enough polish to put a sheen on the surface. I too noticed that it only lasted about a day or so at the most then dissipated leaving a low sheen subdued finish. I continued on with this procedure for quite some time with the same...
