Actually upon closer inspection theres no life at all in it. No power or heat, nothing! Any idea how to fix? Ive eliminatedthe obvious like the fuse and taken it apart to find all soldering is intact and nothing is lose. So what could be wrong?

Hi guys, I've got a herbalaire 2.0 but it seems that the heating element needs replacing. It wont heat up etc. It is out of warranty and the manufacturer offered a repair service for $40 plus shipping to Canada! So naturally I was hoping for an alternative. Anyone have an idea how I can repair...
