With the rotating airport, that shouldn't be an issue...just a pipe cleaner and some ISO or Everclear. I have a bunch of custom stems that don't come apart like a classic DV...not an issue whatsoever.
Do you have one? It's very easy to measure with a good fine ruler. I just measured my small globe with Simrell cage that way and the tubing I ordered in that size worked fine. And it had a higher quality "feel" to it.
