Yeah it's much smoother, and has a great satisfying noise. If I'm out and about I'll use the solo as is just with the stem, but if I'm sitting down at home or in the bush I'll set the bubbler up and toke away. It's especially useful when it comes to vaporising changa/DMT. Cools it down a lot!
