Whether those many things happen to me or a gift recipient, or someone the recipient sells it to should make no difference. Lifetime means lifetime, nothing about the unit itself changes with ownership transfer.

Did they introduce TI later or was Ti an option at the start? It's all a blur at this point and I'm too lazy to check and also medicated. If so, I think it's possible that some regular TI backers have dates in earlier than some of the early bird discount contributions? Not clear on this.

Of course. Backers got a hefty discount for financing the project and waiting, preorders get a good discount for giving booster money and waiting a shorter time, retail buyers will be paying retail prices for retail shipping times.

I believe they've said they won't ship until you confirm. Presumably they don't want people complaining that it got shipped and their mom opened it, or the stoner at their old address is now enjoying a GH they didn't buy.
