Got mine today. It took 1+15 to top off the battery. There was a faint "new" smell which went away after four max temp burn-offs and ISO wipe down. Other than that, this thing RIPS! Seriously.

Brilliant @LesPlenty The EVO ELB top works great in place of the F2 mouthpiece silicon and screen. Much easier to clean and even less draw resistance. I'm using the ELBs for my EVO, my CFX and now my F2. Handy little things.

I'm not finding smell to be a problem with this vape but you might want to consider one of those spongy foam ear plugs if you are worried about smell or debris in the mouthpiece. I read that somewhere (possibly another forum) and it works great. Cheap and effective.

Just in case you didn't notice (lots of folks don't), there is a clear plastic sheet over the LCD screen to protect it during shipping. It peels right off. I was upset with mine for a week before another member pointed this out to me. Welcome and enjoy your Solo.

You'll be cleaning it often. The CFX is my daily driver with the ELB's. Without the ELB's, I doubt if I'd use it much. Low maintenance is a big factor for me.

i use the elb's with mine and find that i rarely have to clean it. The oven stays really clean. After about 6 or 8 sessions I soak the mouthpiece in iso for a little while.
