Yes i just cant be fussed to time heat ups as well. I just make sure its full temp but not red hot so as to not chaz my banger. Also i have a 1 minute glass sand timer so thats perfect for my method. Also i use Liger at home so don't even really use traditional banger v often.

Mine is pretty thick base, around 4mm id guess. I heat my banger right up but keep it under red hot. Then leave around 1.05 for shatter , 1.15 for full melt

I think the problem here is that its very difficult to distinguish coloured glass from painted glass. If in doubt just buy clear only, and i would steer away from anything where the heat source goes near the coloured / painted glass.

Well my green quartz quest glass atomiser lid turned out to be green paint not green glass. Id be surprised if this was the only case. I've also seen videos recently where a heady China pipe was just painted glass inside. (The bowl and everything)

Yes i like kief but if i wanted some, i would use my 120 micron screen and do it properly. I just find 3 piece grinder weird, just constantly lowering the quality of my product for a minor kickback, not to mention all the kief lost in threadings etc. Each to their own
