New Future Vaper. Need your wonderful advice!

Never used an Air or Solo so I'll make an educated guess - a log would be good if you like the small loads you can put in your Air but would like to get through your load faster and have it hit you harder all at once vs sipping on the Air. Something like the Evo would be if you want to inhale...

New Future Vaper. Need your wonderful advice!

Fuck me, 5 grams a day - I don't think a log would cut it. Not that I've tried one but I'd say you should be looking into a Cloud Evo or something that can deliver significantly bigger hits than any log can, if you can stretch the budget that far. DBV/SSV would be the biggest hitters this side...

    Underdog Log Vapes

As simple as logs are, I still think there is a substantial learning curve before it all clicks together. Took me a few months at the start . It all seems so easy now but there are definitely a few variables to account for. Good luck @Vape Dr.

    Underdog Log Vapes

I don't like the upside down screens because the basket is so handy for measuring your load. My usual glass stem load is just to the rim of the bucket - helps keep things from getting out of control, if you know what I mean :ko:.

To Any Scotch or Bourbon drinkers.....

I have a scotch every night now - neat in my Glencairn glass. Goes great with vaping . Currently have a bottle of Auchentoshan Three Wood for my single malt and some Monkey Shoulder for my blend. The Monkey Shoulder is fine/nice but has nothing on the Three Wood, which tastes just out of...

One vape on a desert island

I would love to say the Vapman or Lotus but I find it really hard to see the torch flame in the sunlight :hmm:. Out of all my vapes the Flowermate Pro seems the logical choice to cover all bases. Never in my life would I have thought the Flowermate would be my "desert island vape" :uhoh:.

    Vapman

I don't think we need to worry about those posts on the last page about butane taste, they are from 2008 and are from the very first page in this thread :sherlock:. EDIT: It has been a while since I have used my beloved Vapman and even longer since I was in this thread - it will get a session...

    Dynavap VapCap

I second OF's lighter suggestion, they are the best, most trouble free lighter you can buy - and so cheap too! I have a couple of them and use them with my Vapman, Lotus and VapCap, every single other lighter I have tried has quickly died - these are the exception to the rule.

    Underdog Log Vapes

My Lotus J-hook is amazing with the UD, really really recommend a J-hook to any dog owner. So smooth and less fuss than water.

    Underdog Log Vapes

I just stir the load and then tap my stem into an Altoid tin and blow the rest into the air, which is really just a few specks. Couldn't be easier.

    Underdog Log Vapes

@Florence I would be careful with putting the UD in your jumper pocket like that if it's turned on, they get pretty hot - might even overheat somehow?

    Dynavap VapCap

I love how the VapCap feels just like smoking a joint but without any of the wastefulness. Even rolling it around in my fingers while I torch reminds me of rolling a joint . I feel like the joint experience was the only thing that vaping full time was missing - and now we have that too.

    Dynavap VapCap

I should've said, it has now turned a cool rainbow colour from all the torchings :).

^^^ My cap is definitely not that shiny anymore . My OG Woody is still going strong, would love a longer one in the future would be my only comment .

    Underdog Log Vapes

Although sometimes you need to wait between hits for it to recover, my mini runs just fine on 12.5V and can blacken a nylon stem load .

^^^ Can't help you there buddy, I'm a carb open kinda guy - same with the Vapman :myday:.

    Dynavap VapCap

It's funny how everyone has their own different method for using the VapCap. My typical load is three heat cycles working my way down the cap going from top/middle to middle to bottom. On the third cycles I am literally pulling as hard as I can to stave off combustion and get a pretty big hit...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

I have nothing to add here apart from to say that I also love my Lotus. The J-hook is pretty great too and works great with my UD.

Clarify Something About The Underdog/E-Nano for me!

Quick note that my UD is ready to roast an SS stem to dark brown within 10 minutes, glass stems I usually wait a half hour or so for complete heat soak through the log. I just touch the core stem and if it burns me then it's hot enough for the SS stems.
