Yeah that sounds like yours is busted. Afaik the A/P setting starts at 190 and increases with 3 degreses each puff until it gets to HI. So it should be at max temperature within 10 puffs. Mine never gets there. Same as yours, when I turn it medium from A/P after LOTS of puffs, it has to heat up...

So... now the puff sensor seems to have stopped working. When I used the A/P setting it doesn't really seem to get much warmer and shuts off after 10 minutes regardless of whether I've been drawing on it. Am I correct in thinking some other people in the thread have had this issue? I'm hoping...

10 to 12 regular hits, sure. But I was describing the HUGE clouds I can get from my Bronze VG, which I haven't able to yet get from the Alfa, and this person assured me they could get 10-12 hits of that sort of size from one bowl in the Alfa.

I got my Alfa back from Goboof. They were generally pretty good to deal with and had the Alfa repaired and back to me within a week of sending it to them. The note from the engineer said it had had its heater replaced, plus being reprogrammed and recalibrated. It's definitely working better...

I've had an Alfa for around a week and I'm not getting great results with it so far. It only produces very thin hits. The only way to get thicker vapour out of it is to pack it very full and tight and then draw on it extremely slowly. This produces somewhat thicker hits but still not all that...
