    Arizer Air II

I'd much rather swap and charge batteries rather than devices, which puts me off the solo as you can't do that. I'm a bit put of arizer altogether due to the unreliability I've suffered, much more so if they stop processing my return requests.

Did they refuse to replace or repair it?

    Arizer Air II

My screen failed too last night. Its all mangled up and illegible, but still heats ok. I've never charged the device by usb, I always charge batteries instead. Nameste vapes have refused to honour the UK local suppliers warranty they promised to avoid me having to send back to the manufacturer...

    The Arizer Air

Yes it is a tight fit in my Air. I'm quite pleased with it though, so I've ordered another. Saves me having to clean them quite so often if I have more of them. It sounds like you ordered yours from a more legit source than me, yet we have very similar items. Maybe mine is an original Arizer...

    The Arizer Air

Ebay sell Chinese stems for around a third of the UK price of genuine Solo stems, so thought I would try getting a curved one. It's got some subtle differences to a genuine one, but seems really well made. The holes in the bowl look machine cut, same size as original. The plate with the holes in...

That sounds very similar to what I'm seeing here. Thanks for posting it, glad to hear I'm not alone. Arizer tell me there is less than 1% failure rate on the Air, so I guess I'm really unlucky if this is true. All of my batteries work fine in my working Air. All of my batteries have the same...

    The Arizer Air

I just went to double check this, as I have several batteries. Unfortunately the problem remains using several different genuine original fully charged Air batteries. The bottom light didn't flicker much this time, however the unit died within 2 minutes from cold on lowest heat setting. I just...

    The Arizer Air

My Air that was previously replaced under Warranty has now developed a fault. The bottom light flickers a lot when heating and stops working a few minutes into a session. I'm not sure it's getting to full heat either. Has anyone else experienced this particular fault before? I was wondering if...

    The Arizer Air

I'm interested in other methods of using reclaim from stems, as my first experiment vaping QWISO from my stem bath iso was a disaster, horrendous foul taste for some reason which I could not tolerate. When you say scrape and vape, how are you scraping out the stem? It's just a light brown oily...

How long has it been away for? Trying to work out how long I should expect to be without mine, once I get the address to send it too.

As I've said before, Returning to PIU would involve international shipping charges, as I'm based in UK. The unit was from Planetvape.ca, same problem, they're on a different continent to me. Returning to a UK distributor will be much better for me if it works out. I'm using Amazon UK, there are...

    The Arizer Air

My Air has now completely failed. No power on now matter how hard I press. The buttons are useless. The Pinnacle Pro I have has a bad battery, so can't use that either as a spare. It doesn't work at the moment even plugged in. I didn't bother Warranty returning that as I went off it after...

    The Arizer Air

Good find. Shame it's just as I've ordered more stems last week these show up. These look like they're the newer style stems, with smaller standardized holes. The older style, that I prefer, has larger holes poked through while the glass is hot. (according to Arizer) Standardized holes are...

    The Arizer Air

I have tried cleaning around the button, which is what Arizer first suggested. I've also tried blowing into the unit to see if that helps dislodge something causing the problem, but nothing I've tried has worked. I can't be sure without opening it up, which of course I'm not going to do while...

    The Arizer Air

Maybe a faulty switch? It's not like I've even used it that much, and the Arizer rep hadn't heard of it happening before.

Thanks. Arizer are going to arrange return to UK service centre, which is handy for me so I don't have high overseas shipping charges. I'll report back on how it goes, I don't have the details from them yet. I've been asking around to get the best price on a second Air so I'm not without one...

    The Arizer Air

I find the battery meter very useful. I often accidentally leave a discharged battery in there, means I can check the rough status of the one in there quickly and easily before taking the Air somewhere to use for a bit. If it's on red when I pick it up I can quickly swap out the dead battery...

Practice and experiment with everything. That has worked wonders for me. Six months in with the Air and it's still getting better all the time, mostly thanks to a lot of good folk on this site.

    The Arizer Air

I already have a turbo PVHES. Way too much dilution for me, even when drawing very slowly. I want four slightly larger holes like the curved, not one massive one like the turbo PVHES. Less resistance but still with awesome tasty, dense hits. I also dislike the channels in the bowl of the PVHES...

    The Arizer Air

I prefer curved to Solo Straight stems, and I think I could tell the difference blindfolded, with mine at least. I have two straight and two curved, both curved ones have significantly bigger holes in the stem compared to the Straight ones, aiding airflow without the noticeable dilution you get...
