don't think so--i filled it for 10+ seconds twice and haven't gotten it working since then, hence the overfilling worry. thanks for trying to get to the bottom of this! could it be clogged somehow? the butane i use is 4x refined, so i didn't think that was it

yep, at first i had that problem but the last few times i've pressed hard and filled it til it started spilling out. i never looked up how long i should fill it for, so when it started acting up i filled it a lot more than i should have

my friend sold me her lightly used iolite. i've used it a couple times and it worked fine, but i think i may have overfilled it and now it doesn't make any sound when i turn it on. i've tried venting the chamber but when i press down nothing happens--no sound, no liquid, no air flow out...
