They are saying that waiting to order adds exponentially more time to your wait. Though, really that's not exactly true as they are supposed to be ramping up production, those who order now will have the shortest wait IMO.

As far as I've gathered the USB charging chord will not work if plugged in with any charger less than 2A. Not sure on the external charger though.

You should be hitting it as soon as you see blue lights (3-5 seconds.) You may be waiting long enough that auto shut off is kicking on. (18seconds)

I need some backup in this one, but I don't think you're supposed to thread different metals together like that. Different hardnesses could cause uneven wear of the threads.

20f is pretty cold. Definitely below the 32f min reccomended temp. You also might consider that your car charger may be underpowered compared to a wall plug. Not trying to blame, just keep hope alive that we aren't seeing another failure.
