    I don't think I can tell arizer that I did the hard reset though because that would mean admitting that I took the unit apart, which would void the warranty, right? Same with asking them to send me a new battery I think. Has anyone had experience dealing with arizer in these circumstances?

    I just tried both of these method on my unit to no avail. My unit is new, sent from Arizer under warranty replacement. When I turn it on and set a temp, the blue Idle light is lit and the red Heat light flashes, but none of the numbers light up and the unit shuts itself off within 20 seconds...

    No dice... What does holding the two buttons for more than 4 seconds do? My unit just keeps beeping until I release the buttons.

    Yes I'm unplugging it before turning it on. From what I've read, the blue idle light should not be on while the unit is heating up. I'm going to talk to arizer and insist I get a new unit sent for free. What is the latest model #?

    I just got a brand new unit through warranty replacement with Arizer. The unit worked fine for the first 5 days, but now it refuses to heat up and instead shuts itself off. It is fully charged, when I plug it in all 7 amber lights are lit and the green charge light is solid. I turn the unit...
